We are glad to have you hang out in our neck of the woods!

Hello everyone,

I'm the new moderator for the Atlanta board & will be taking over for RCPRO. RCPRO was a great moderator and a great asset to TER. For his own personal reasons he has resigned as a TER moderator & I wish him the best of luck in the future.

I have a bit of a different moderating style than others & if you've viewed the board lately; then you've already seen it. When a post is supposed to be removed or not approved ... instead of just pulling it .... I I edit the post and explain why it was removed and keep it up. This allows for the poster to learn why it was removed/unapproved & helps to remind others of the rules.

I look forward to hearing from all of you, and working with you. If any of you should have any issues, feel free to PM me here on TER.

Your friendly neighbourhood moderator

P.S. While I dont live in Texas, I am a texas native. I was born and raised in Sugarland, Texas :).

While it is a slow board compared to most, we have a fairly quiet bunch who shouldn't give you too much trouble! :)

Good luck!

We are glad to have you hang out in our neck of the woods!

I am the TwinCities board moderator and resident "ass clown" of TER!
I'm just here to cause trouble...

This may be a little board...I wish it weren't beleive me...but it still works some magic every once in a while!

Not any clowns so maybe you can jazz it up a bit! :)

Welcome...
Sara

Best of luck to RCProNo1, thats some big shoes to fill for someone up in DC...

Welcome to TX, and congrats on the Atlanta position,  and welcome to your co-moderator as well. Is TER taking on a ' two mods per board' policy? I ask just because I noticed ' other cities' and  Boston look they they are flying with a pilot and co-pilot now too.

While you guys are here, how exactly do these mini-reviews work??

TER is taking on a dual moderator platform on all boards. It is intended to spread the load, as some boards are busier than others. Additionally, it provides an extra outlet for the individual posters/hobbyists/providers to goto in the event of one moderator being away for whatever reason. In general its just to make things more organized and convient for the end user.

As far as the Atlanta board, I've been moderating it for 2+ years now.

Now about mini-reviews on the boards.......
I allow mini reviews (i saw this girl, shes a firebomb, review coming soon.) What I dont allow is shilling; by that I mean (go see this girl, contact her via blah blah, shes in town you should see her, etc etc).

Hope that clears up your questions, if not ... feel free to PM me :).

That answers them, thanks for the clarifications. Good policy on the shilling.

I agree with pluged, in that we can usually smell the motives behind why you're posting about a lady....

A problem we've had in the TwinCities is so many girls use the same name... When a guy says I had a great time with "lisa"... well hell, that could be 30 different girls! So the way we do things is I allow a picture to be added to the post so we all know which lisa we're talkin' about! (but NOT her website link or contact info...a guy's gotta find the girl on his own!)

It's easy enough to do if the girl has an ad or website, just right-click on a picture of her and got to "properties", then copy the html line and paste it in the picture box in your post befor you click "post message".... AND! You should ALWAYS post a review of the girl at the same time... I do watch for that! That's how I sort out the real men from the scammers...!

Good to have you as the new moderator.  I feel your style of editing nonconforming submissions will prove to be most educational in the end and ultimately save you time and trouble- GOOD SHOW!
