part of your answer is "drugs".  The other part you said he beats her, fear.  He may be all she has in this world.  Honestly man most of these ladies are not well adjusted people with great support groups.  Trying to make sense of their choices is an exercise in futlility.

The stereotype that you mentioned are a small part, but in answer to your question:

1.  Many depend on him for food, place to live and transportation
2.  Many are homeless girls that have been abused looking for some type of normalcy in their lives
3.  Some pimps sell the family life and excitement of travel to them.
4. And many more to numerous to list

I see these types of threads asked often, but reality some arrangements are the best option the girls have in life. Does that mean I am in favor of pimps not necessarily (Why don't we call them what they are, "Their Boss"). Just like yours. If the girls want to leave, their are many people who will help them. It is their choice just as it is yours on who to see. They have the same choices you have to change jobs. I decided to quit judging it is not for me to decide.
