Several weeks ago, I read a post that suggested a social. I was curious as to what became of that suggestion? Perhaps, we could host it at "Lone Star Park" Horse racing, cocktails, gambling...Sounds like a good idea? Luke

I made the post and so far only 10 or 12 people are interested - but that is not so bad for the little activity we have here on this board - over time that number will increase I'm sure...

From my experiences with these socials in FL - I am hopeful we can have the numbers needed by June or July ???

However, for the folks from out of town, we would need advance notice and would probably need to be on the weekend, preferably on a Saturday night.  Just my thoughts...

  I'm in for sure, if I can make it...I'll tell you, the bars at many hotels in town are quite accomodating, and lodging is, well, quite readily at hand! I've got my favorites, but this would definitely be someone else's party; I just hope that I can make the trip, know what I mean?
