I grew up in the Dallas area and have been a Cowboy's fan "forever". However, the last several years and the advent of "free agency", have made it difficult to continue enjoying pro football as a whole.
The players of the teams constantly change and its hard to know the players on your team year to year as you could prior to free agency.
When I was younger, I watched every pro football game that was broadcast. Now I watch a little of the games though it seems to grow less and less each season. The Cowboy's are still my team ... but I am gradually becoming more and more a college football fan.
College football is not perfect either but it just seems to be more fun.
I go back w/ the Boys to the 60's. Fan thru thick and thin and there's been plenty of both. What I try to do is just focus on each game for it's inherent excitement and cut out all the b.s. I guess I'm in the minority now but I think Bill is still a genius if the media would just listen and not try to create stories. Finally I figure if I could live with Deion I can tolerate T O.
