When responding, sometimes you can say everything you want to say in the subject line - then youo put EOM meaning end of message - no need for the reader to waste time clicking as there is no more message
END OF MESSAGE in the message is automatic from TER when there is nothing typed in by the poster
when you reply to a post with eom at the end of the subject line - that subject line is duplicated - with the eom at the end - if you start your response in the subject line - you can eliminate this potential for confusion
This'll be a really DUMB, easily-answered question, I'll bet; here goes:
What does it indicate when, in the middle of a thread, someone posts, simply, "EOE"? Or, "END OF MESSAGE"...
Does that mean, " 'nough said, leave it alone" or "That is all you'll get" or "It's my thread, I say we're done talking", or....what?
I should recognise this little bit of probably very normal protocol, but I'll be honest: I do not. And again, I'm just too curious to leave it alone, so, y'know...
