I posted a link below to a New York Times article regarding David Elms, founder of TER. David was arrested in Phoenix last month for "conspiracy to commit aggravated assault... conspiracy to possess drugs, conspiracy to commit misconduct involving weapons, and possession of drug paraphernalia."
David's legal problems have NOTHING TO DO with the people on this board. Trying to scare people into thinking that undercover cops are logging our IPs so they can arrest us is idiotic. Stop it. --z
for those in tune with the dallas backpage ads....was just surfing ads on backpage dallas, and saw an alert identifying the owner of the erotic review as a scam and that the police are involved with undercover ops...logging ip's and all...anyone see this alert or have an answer...kinda scary seeing that the aspd just got blasted...do we have a hater on hand or is this the real deal...also mentioned a shit ton of false reviews.....

If you notice the preamble to this site says something to the effect of "everything on this site is made up by people who like to fantasize and shouldn't be taken literally"
It is also legal for an adult to have sex and talk about it in a forum... or ask about sexual questions in a forum.. tell dirty jokes,,, post funny adult themed pictures...
or any number of things...
Personally I would avoid fantasizing about overtly illegal things. I wouldn't post I had just robbed a bank at gunpoint for example.....
I hope LE has better things to do with my taxpayer dollars than log IP addresses of adults who like to goof around on a posting board.
Bottom-line all reviews are legally "heresay". No one can prove anything on anybody. If they want to collect IP address...have fun! Doesn't mean a thing!
