What would you do if your regular ATF is drinking too much, even missing appointments.....?

Unfortunately, you can't do anything. You can't help people, they have to help themselves.  

Trying to help anyone is absolutely an exercise in futility and it never ever ends well.  

Your best bet is to be kind but don't enable and don't get caught up in the mess.
