GFE versus PSE, and Hobbyist Calling the shots?

What is really the difference between the two? I have seen providers, did not specifically note I was interested in PSE but things got a little wild. Is that PSE?

And while we are talking about verbally communicating our likes or interests, I have always felt uncomfortable asking a Provider to do this, or that, but I often read TER Reviews that seem to reflect the Hobbyist calls the shots, is the director of play so to speak. Since me doing that stuff is way far from my personality, how best to communicate such issues?

Terms like PSE and GFE mean so many things to so many people that honestly I can't keep up with it.  I am thinking PSE is more just crazy balls to the wall sex without any real intimacy (kissing, cuddling, conversation, etc).  That is just the opinion I have formed about it.  GFE is alllllllll about the kissing, cuddling, "illusion of intimacy."

Also don't be shy to tell us what you want in a session, as long as you are polite.  If you want DATY, tell us, cuz I don't want to just assume and plop my kitty on your face and you are like "ewwww get that thing off me!"  Same goes for if you like your booty played with, just say something like, "I like it when you do this," or, "could we try something like this?"

I don't like guys "calling the shots" (because that posture is just plain tacky machisimo) but suggestions and questions/comments throughout the session so that you get the most out of your time is fine with me, it's your time and I want it to be great for you!  As long as you are not trying to get non-menu items and you aren't pushy please do tell me what you like!
