Dallas

It is confusing.

Imagine how I felt, a mostly newbie dancer, walking into a supposedly topless bar to audition, and everyone was nude. It was ... mildly shocking. Ah, youth.

As others have said, they're both in the giant pink building off Composite. The Fare is to the right, further from Composite, Cabaret is to the left, closer to the street. Cabaret is topless, Fare is nude -- so you can buy alcohol in Cabaret but Fare is BYOB. Both are good clubs, but since I don't know your definition of a "good dance", I can't help ya there. Cabaret *was* lower on the extras when I was there, and was rumored to have prettier women (hey, they had me, right?? haha), but both may have changed over the years. It's been a while since I was at either. :) They used to have some deal where if you bought VIP for one club you could get into the other for free, so be sure to ask if they still have anything like that available.

I have been going to Baby Dolls Dallas for a while now and recently a friend suggested a club that he called "the Fare".
I looked it up on Yahoo and got an address that said said it was located on 5030 Greenville Avenue.
I copied the address and phone number down that I found on city search and went on my way.
I got to the spot and there wasn't a strip club there.
So I called the number and the young lady that answered didn't say the name of the club.
It was just a pleasant sounding young woman's voice that asked if she could help me and I could hear music in the back ground.
I explained to her that I was trying to find the club and was on Greenvile Ave and didn't see it.
She told me that it wasn't on Greenville and was on Composite Drive.
I asked for the exact address so that I could type it into my GPS and she said it was 10723 Composite Drive off of Walnut Hill.
I was about 10 miles away so I drove over there and still didn't see anything that said "the Fare".
But I did see a club called the Cabaret Royale that looked nice.
I went in and had a good time and decided to go back again the next time I was in Dallas.
When I got home - I went online to see if they had a website and I couldn't find one.
But I did find a listing for them on Yahoo Local and it gave their telephone number and their address.
And lo and behold - Their address is 10723 Composite Drive.
So after that HUGE rambling preamble ...
Here are my questions ...

1.) Is there a such club as the Fare or is the club that I went to called Cabaret Royale the very same club under a new name ?

2.) If "the Fare" is a different club - where is it ?

3.) Which of the two clubs (if they are seperate clubs) is a better place to get some good dances?

I believe the Fare location shut down in early 2004 due to settlement with city zoning litigation.  Cabaret Royale has been at that location for years I think it was part of the same ownership group so they folded it into Cabaret Royale.

Cabaret Royale is a topless club.
The Fair is an all nude club located next to Cabaret Royale (part of the same building, door on the right side).  Their upstairs vip might be interesting to you.  I think you can pay a higher price at the fair & get access to both clubs.

The Fare Room is a separate, full nude/no booze club connected to Cabaret Royale, with a separate entrance. They have plenty of ads in the Observer, if that helps.
