why you can't rely on one site for research

Hi,

I know that a lot of Texas hobbyists rely on ASPD exclusively to do their "research" on provider reviews, but I do think that sometimes you may not get the "whole" picture on the services of a provider by just checking out one site like aspd as your one stop guide.

For instance, I wanted to post a review to aspd on a local provider who services the Austin and San Antonio area, but I was forbidden to post the review to the san antonio section by ASPD administrator, CK1942.   The reason why I was forbidden to post the review was because the provider in question is one of his ATFs, and in my review I had intended to critique certain parts of her service which needed improvement.   He had seen the review I had posted on this same provider over at another site, After Hours Central, and he made it clear to me over a private message that I shouldn't share this pertinent info over at ASPD --even though that's what a reviews site is supposed to be about.   Then this white knight administrator actually went so far out on a limb for his ATF by threatening to ban me and access me points on my account if I posted the critical review of his atf.  No integriry whatsoever.

However, I had absolutely NO problem posting that same review to this site, TER, big doggie, ahc and etc.   I feel it's important to share experiences with other hobbyists.  Not only just good ones, but also the sessions that could've gone better as well.   I think that says something....it's just a useful reminder that if you are a Texas hobbyist, especially one from San Antonio, you shouldn't rely on just ASPD to do your review research.  You won't get the whole picture if the section has an administrator who is white knighting providers as is the case in SA, probably in exchange for favors.   I always check out this site, including others.

So you didn't ever break any site rules, you were just going to post a negative review?
