Dallas is a great hobby town, there are plenty of legit providers. All price ranges, ages, flavors, and service levels. Prices generally reflect the lower cost of living so it should be great for a visitor. True, TER isn't as relevant here so you have to go other places for research. I could say the same about San Diego, which is another great hobby town that's not big on TER.
In my honest opinion, I think Dallas has some of classiest and hottest women in the country, Vegas included. If you did not fare well in Dallas I would have to guess you did not do your homework very well.
Right off the top of my head I can think of at least ten ultra hot, well reviewed, and awesome providors.
One bad experience in a city does not define the entire providor population of that city. My suggestion is that next time you carefully research your options, maybe even post on the board for some responses from the local guys. Sorry you missed the local talent.
Nope, plenty of homework. Most of the "good girls" DO NOT respond to e-mails/calls. And when you try to set things up weeks in advance, forget it. Like pulling teeth.

The 2 girls I DID get a hold of were extremely late (the 2nd one I cancelled in mid-drive....and she said "you should be happy I was coming, most girls don't even show up!" lol), and the one that arrived an hour late, was out the door in 23 minutes!!
This city needs some PROS from Vegas to show em how it's done.

Hard to find "professional" at that age range. A hot hard body is about all you get. Sure, we all had hot hard bodies at one time in our lives, some of us still do. But professional?? With skills??? Your asking alot.
Dallas doesnt need Vegas to show us how its done. But in the age range your look for, your not going to get anything but what you did...and from the sounds of it, that wasnt much.
Timely post as I have been doing some research for a trip to Dallas next week. I am a very seasoned traveler and hobbiest so I think I have some experience in comparing cities. I would grade Dallas lower than most compared to major cities. Girls screen heavily and TER VIP is not very helpful. ASPD is the place to be for being in the know. Most girls also ask for Perferred 411 or some other date check for referral.
As far as the girls there seems to be some gems but not many compared to other major cities. The girls websites suck: bad pixs (small and have cell phone quality).
Overall very hard for a visitor to Dallas. PS - I am looking to hook up for an outcall at my hotel in the evening with a girl: 20-35, athletic body, tanned or olive skin tone over 5' 5" tall, and loves giving GFE experience.

As a visitor, it probably is pretty tough to sift through the trash to find the quality here in Dallas. There are more providers here than usual cities and they are tremendously undercutting prices from some high quality providers. So much that some choose to work elsewhere. I think Dallas has the widest variety and any can get what they want if they look in the right spots. Anything from 100 to 1000. But like I said, the competition is fierce and if I was visiting, I think I probably would be scammed if there weren't reviews. Reviews are so key into finding out who is legit, the performance they give, and if their looks are worth it! Sorry you had a bad time bud, but try again man cause there is something for everyone here!
I lived in Vegas for 1.5 years, the worst place in the world for providers, no service ridiculous costs mostly unattractive. I have hobbied all over the US and believe me Dallas is the best and Vegas the worst in my opinion. Everyone is able to have an opinion, I gave Vegas a year and a half, and you gave Dallas a weekend? I am sorry you had a bad experience but I will defend the ladies of Dallas anytime over the arrogant ladies of Vegas. Again sorry about your experience, but you obviously need to really hobby in Dallas to make that kind of judgment call.
I want to thank a couple of you for sending me a PM on some suggestions that fit what I was looking for next week during my visit. However you feel about hobbying in different cities Dallas has some very nice people who are known for always lending a helpful hand.
I like to pick the hill I am going to die on and it would NOT be a public battle over which city is best for hobbying. That said I live in So. Cal and TER owns this market, including San Diego, along with Cityvibe. Living here probably makes it easy for me - you know your way around and what buttons to push. Bottom line is So. Cal has so many easily reachable gals it is like the Disneyland of hobbying with an E-Ticket. Huge variety and price ranges but incredible quantities to choose from.
Las Vegas is also fairly good but many gals are overpriced. People from there are usually from somewhere else and come with some history and in most cases are starting over. You have to be very careful as there are so many rip-offs. You can find a gem but you have to dig a little.
Dallas I think can be good for locals but for an outsider it is a little bit underground and hard to wade through the BS on the ASPD website. All those catchy little phrases like “Betsey Sue is now my ATF" - you read it and find she costs 150 bucks, LFK, and looks like she circus act with all the tattoos - real waste of time.
Several gals do have their own customized websites and the websites are all very good but many girls use those cookie cutter sites (you know the ones that ask if you want to save it in your favorites) and they suck. I assume the girls are very pretty but who the hell can tell from those pixs. Also many gals have private Yahoo clubs that you need to join to see more pixs - pain in the ass for a visitor. Shit all I want to do is get laid by a hottie!!
After hours of research I tried WynterStark and without strong Dallas references it was a no go -she also said I should join Preferred 411. I now have on my list Delanie, Mercedes, Madison.

FREAK: Been going to Vegas for 15 years now. Think I have a pretty good grasp of what's up out there. TRUE you need to have money out there to experience the best....usually. I've had the best and EVERY GIRL I had from TER in Vegas has come thru!!
Dallas is relatively new, so we'll see. Couple bad ones, and just general immature providing with no call backs or e-mail responses. I'm sure I'll have better luck next time I'm out here on business.

Seriously though, there are some very nice, professional ladies (like Carrie) that frequent the Dallas board of TER but, the fact as previously mentioned is, TER is not the Dominant board for the Hobby in this area. If you are dependent the Dallas TER board for your list of talent it will be quite short. Again not taking away from those that choose to advertise here, I am just stating the facts.
That said, I have hobbied here for about four years and have rarely had a problem getting in touch with ladies or making even short notice appointments but I do my homework and I know who to call and I almost always do incall.
I don't write reviews. I don't need to. The woman I usually come across from this board are always 8, 9 or 10's. They don't need the publicity.
I DO think that when you come across a sub-par performer, you should share THAT information. As a hobbyist, I wanna know when a girl isn't worth a dime of my money.
FART: If you want a list of the woman I have seen (and they can confirm it for you) I'll gladly share privately.
However, you might note that most of the ladies desire reviews from people they haven't seen before because it provides them publicity and the opportunity for additional sessions.
That said, if you only plan to write negative reviews, you are definiely going to reduce the ladies who want to see you. Remember, ER, the ladies know how to do their research as well and some will actually refuse to see you even if you have money in your hand.

You chose a new provider with two reviews besides yours. This lady is not a "proven" provider but you based your whole assessment of the Dallas Hobby community on your esperience with her.
The styling of your review is indicative of that fact you don't know how to do research, your people skills are possibly suspect and you have insulted a lot of very fine ladies.
If you want help finding a lady, next time you come to Dallas try the other Board and actually do research. I would offer to have you PM but I don't plan to be on this Board much longer.

YOU shouldn't blame the totality of Dallas real quality professionals for your inability to pick winners. Delving more into a lady as an individual and not solely relying on a glamor shot picture might be a wiser course instead of the whine-fest.
You contacted women and they never returned your calls? I'm curious what the calls or letter consisted of? Were they sent at midnight with the phrase "are you available".... or Did you leave message like "I'm at the motel 6. My name is Mike. Call me at room 220." Because men who seem completely clueless and/or disrespectful in their approach can also find themselves ignored.
Man you created some strong emotions with your post. I have found in life whether it is business, personal or hobbying an absolute statement is usually wrong and you leave yourself wide open for a knock out punch. I think the ref is counting you out as I write this.
That said there is no doubt Dallas has great providers but those of you that live here please remember as a visitor it is not an easy place to figure it out how to hook up. Each city has its own unique of doing business. Dallas is into quirky provider websites, Yahoo private clubs, other referral sites that I cannot remember and more often than usual you must have 2-3 local provider references, etc. etc. In my opinion , as a visitor, it is a tough place to play. You are only there for a day or two and you have to make some quick decisions fast - it can get very frustrating.
It has nothing to do with professionalism by the girls - they are about the same everywhere but as a visitor it has to do with getting into the club and be a player and figuring out the scene fast.
Additionally no need to attack his manhood, tell him to grow up and get more notches, separate the wheat from the chaff or grain form the wheat or chaff from the grain - whatever was said.
I would not ever see who ever said that just because if I did not perform I am afraid she might separate something attached to me - like my corn from my kernel !!
