Fellas and Ladies,

One of my bestest friends here on the Dallas/TER board has brought it to my attention that I reacted (or possibly over-reacted) rather harshly to a suggestion put to me by a stranger that I've had issues with in the past. In short, while I'm fairly new to the Hobby, I feel that I've done many miles, spread an attitude of mutual respect and goodwill, and paid some dues in regards to what's "cool", both on this board and in the friendships I've created and maintained here.
While I regret that I was ever called out, corrected, and commanded to do otherwise than to express myself honestly, and with good humour and the utmost respect to those whom I was addressing, I'll stand beside my decision to inform one involved party that I do not appreciate, nor will I tolerate anyone's assumption that I should PM a suggestion or idea when it's obvious that an enjoyable and mutually respectful conversation is taking place here in the open. I just feel that it's more enriching and fun, for all of us, to air these conversations out in public.
And, I'd hate for any of you to think I'm a naysayer or negative type! Anyone who's come to know me here will tell you that the opposite is true: while I may be naive, and lack experience, I'm not gloomy, cynical, or generally negative, in the least. That is simply not in my nature. So I'll apologize, for real, if anyone has been offended or discouraged by my admittedly mean-spirited reply to what I've come to think of as a troll here on the boards. You're not here for that, I know. It's supposed to be fun, no?
So, if I'm not suspended (or banned entirely, which has never happened to me on any message boards, EVER), let's keep this notion straight: I'm only in it for the girls, fellas. If you've got reviews, or great ideas, or just consider yourself One Smart Mamma-jamma, that is fine and good with me. Just don't assume that your approach and mine will coincide; and do not suggest that I'm wrong in keeping up a conversation, here. That is all I ask; and again, I hope we'll all have the opportunity to continue to grow this community and allow it to thrive. In short, my honest opinion is that some of you fellows (and I'm not speaking to ANY Providers here) should just lighten up, perhaps.
Some of us are trying to enjoy ourselves, here, y'know? Thanks for listening. Selah.

Okay,
Bobbo
