Spent last weekend in Dallas for a relative's wedding that was held at an upscale hotel.... an upscale hotel that I had the best suite at.

After the wedding and reception we end up at the bar of this hotel and next thing I know, I have some Gestapo Nazi's AKA the Irving Police Department showing up and harassing my little cousin. He's also staying there and I tell the Gestapo's to leave him alone, that we are staying in the hotel and I'll take him upstairs to put him to bed.

Next thing I know... he's in cuffs and so am I being taken to the Irving Jail for Public Intoxication. We spend 12 hours in jail and I end up paying just under $500 each for this nonsense.... on top of that.. I get charged with "Verbal Assault" of a Public Officer for an additional $400 charge.

What a JOKE of a city Dallas / Texas is for this when nobody is being harmed.

On another note... the Irving City jail is pretty nice (compared to Vegas) and I got compliments of being the nicest dressed person there that they have seen.

Unfortunately.... the money I was planning on spending on a local hottie was blown away on the Gestapo's.  

Regardless.... Dallas sucks and I'll never go back. We were not harming anybody... just having a good time and from what the cop transporting me to jail said.... the bartender of this hotel tipped them off that we had a few too many.

Crazy considering we were staying right upstairs of the hotel bar we were at. Used to be a Conservative and turned into a modern day libertarian. The right wing Conservative fanatics of Irving, TX certainly reinforced my decision to be a modern day libertarian.

Not all of DFW is as bad as you experienced, next time you are here, give me a shout out and we can both take a chance of getting hauled of to jail. lol

yes sweetie I don't even like to do calls near Irving or Las Colinas because I know the police there are terrible they just look for a reason to pull you over and then he'll make something up ur being is known for that its not a good place not a good place to hobby it's not a good place to even be in

Had some of the best times ever in downtown Dallas. Thanks for the warning though. As you can see from my handle, originally from vegas. Just two of us, but had a Vegas-equvelent night with cars, restaurants and bars. Guess I was lucky to be under the radar
