Pissed OFF here,

I was driving in Dallas and there is a section of HOV lanes near LBJ and Central that is huge. If the City had put in regular lanes it would have provided probably the busy intersection in Dallas at least three or four more lanes for each side of the highway.

Instead they have created two lanes for the city buses and a few other fine citizens to drive in so they can be on time. I think HOV lanes are idiotic and we should sue the city for fostering them on us in the name of fuel efficiency.

A few cars may be efficient but when you make the other half-million vehicles drive two miles per hour … you can’t tell me that is more efficient.

Idiots!

SO if I don't want to be late to see my provider, I have to pick up some homeless person so I can use the HOV lane because I can't take my kids or spouse with me . @#$%^&*

I posted this same rant on the political board figuring if anybody would hop on it they would. Ciaraphx said something about people getting cited for trying to use dummies as passengers in the HOV lane.  

I replied to her post about a time recently when I was walking into a convenience store and as I walked by a car, I noticed that the passenger looked odd, but I kept on walking. As I came back out I realized that the odd person was actually a "dummy" with a wig holder as a head, wig and a ball cap.

It took me a moment but then dawned on me this was the guy's HOV lane buddy.

I about laughed my head off.
