...Aspen bound next weekend for my annual "off season training fun!" (sorry..no playtime) but playing concierge to a sexy guest and looking for some primo restaurant recommendations...
With so many off season specials...wanna share your faves? creative cuisine or fusion is a fave of mine.. vs bistro (Wild Fig was good..but i can make a killer risotto myself..so looking for something nice..romantic setting would rock!)    Most of my time up there is cycling to Snowmass and Maroon Bells..rather than downtown..so looking for a little R&R at the end of the day...
PM me or respond with recommendations! thanks!!

Hey Melinda (x2),

I was in Aspen a couple of days ago, and hiked up to Conundrum Hot Springs in the Maroon Bells.  You'll have fun up there!  Note that in Aspen, though, many restaurants were closed because it is the slow season.  We had dinner at L'Hostaria, which I thought was great.  I also like Casa Tua, but they were closed the two nights we were there.  I hope that helps!

thanks!  go up there every year to cycle...but only get the one nite of dinner in. This year..I'm going up 2 weeks latr than usual..so unsure of what will be opened.. that Hot Springs sounds like fun! my cycling might get pre-empted due to snow...so it might be a killer hiking/dining weekend! thanks for the recommendations!

I always ski the 2nd week of Dec...... which is off season.  The locals like UTE City and it's good food.
