can we talk about TOB? I feel they are rather suppressive and it is getting ridiculous.sad_smile

So, this site that I apparently have to use if anyone is gonna know my presence here as a provider...is really, REALLY trying my good nature and I want to know, in a NICE WAY of course, what other providers experience with the mods for Denver are.  It seems lIke every time I attempt to make a post, I am just shut down by, from what I see...biased and infraction-happy hall monitors?  This is especially frustrating when I try to post something that mentions Me in any way, shape, or form...and it not only doesn't get posted, but they abruptly give me yet another infraction for something no one will ever even see.  Yet...there are endless "411 on so-and-so "circle jerks multiple times each day and the hobbyists are free to say just about anything they please about a provider, and not get infractions for the crap that is oftem purely speculation?   This is not an attack on any one basement dweller with mod privileges or the site itself, but an honest and civil inquiry: am I just getting the old "STFU Donnie!" and infractions on the side, because my post was just that meaningless to them or not completely what they are hoping to see for their pleasure?  Is it my imagination, or is this outlet for people to weigh in on hobby related subjects/make announcements; blatantly shutting down anything a lady/provider might have to say MUCH more than one of the "boys club" posts?  I would have stopped using them, period...if there weren't so much going on on those boards...I'm sick of being punished for ATTEMPTS at posts by a couple of men who seem VERY biased against the providers.  On that subject, can this discussion forum go ahead and take off like a rocket soon so I can just tell TOB where they can shove their "infractions?" Cause...TER isn't near a pain in the butt, while TOB throws my time spent writing something away at their (random and flawed) discretion. Does anyone else here want to just leave that restrictive board alone as much as I do?

I am brand new there but I do see what you are referring to. I got hit for my very first post simply because I said I was considering a visit to Denver but needed input about where to go and when, etc. They said it was advertising, lol. In a way, I kinda see that, but it was still quite a stretch imho. Anyway, from what I can tell, its more of a guys locker room which is why the guys aren't moderated nearly as much. The site was developed for them, so they strive to keep the gents happy and comfortable. We are only allowed to chip in if its completely neutral and doesn't sway their game per say. Plus, I think they want their ad board (which I am still trying to figure out) to get used primarily, so thats where they push us to go. You are right, its a pain in the rear, but it IS where the guys are for that area. So from a business perspective, its wise to just accept it and maybe use sites like here or a few others that are more provider friendly to get some community support as a provider... Just my two cents...

after my user name and password that I signed up with expired for some reason, I had the devil's own time getting ADMIN to answer my emails about how to regain access to comment.
In truth, I'd love to have the keys to get into the provider's only section to hear what the Ladies are talking about, as I know too well what us guys are likely going to be spouting off about, and that's here at TER, a international board. I don't think I'd waste my time chiming in on TOB to here what my fellow Westerner's were talking about, but again, I'd reconsider if there were more ladies commenting.
