I'm traveling to Denver later this week on business and had a question for the locals. I've sent out a couple of requests via P411 to ladies in the area seeking an outcall to my hotel. When I've mentioned that I'm staying in Lakewood, a couple have responded that the area is questionable as hotel managers are quick to work with LE to spot girls who are not hotel guests. Obviously, if LE is there to crack down on ladies, hobbyists are in their sights too.

My question to the board is whether or not the vast majority of you feel Lakewood is someplace to avoid? Or am I being paranoid based misinformation?

Admittedly, I'm asking for a later appointment (10:00pm), if that makes a difference, as I do know it's easier to be inconspicuous earlier in the evening, but I'm stuck at dinner with a client until that point and I was hoping to have some "me time" afterwards.

If it's a no-go, then I'll just man-up and try again on another visit, but my hotel is where it is this time and I can't get away with changing it this late in the game.

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Didn't know Lakewood had that reputation. Colfax avenue runs through Lakewood, and this street has a reputation for prostitution, but that's all kind of olden days stuff. The few hotel's in Denver West/West Lakewood are pretty nice, and can't see where a young lady that was visiting you would get flagged just by walking through the lobby and getting on the elevator. The kind of busts you usually hear about in the news about Lakewood is guys getting into stings on Colfax, not problems in the nicer business hotels.

Anything that says outcall to Lakewood is a huge red flag for me...
In fact its so redflagish that I don't respond to those (sorry if that was from you, nothing personal)
In the future if your staying there, you may want to leave it open (for in or out) depending on what she's comfortable with :)

Too bad about Lakewood, I'd never have known it was on a shit list. Now I'm wondering about the massage places I have just been finding out about. Lakewood has it's share, and some of them get some good reviews. That does not jive with it (Lakewood) having some kind of big LE foot print in regards to the hobby. Who knows? Too bad about the poor guy who won't be getting lucky after his late business meeting.

The reason most providers stay out of Lakewood is because the fines are higher....actually way stiffer, if you get caught. But if you are a good guy, who has refrences, and can be verified easily, I know girls who will go. And yes...you are right about Colfax....but it's not totally impossible to get service there, as long as you are screenable and safe.

Lakewood=Bad. Walking thru lobby at 10pm or leaving hotel at 11pm or midnight when not a guest in Lakeood hotels= just as bad..

I generally will not go to Lakewood, but if a gentleman contacts me prior to traveling I will explain as to why I am not comfortable visiting there and every case they have moved to a locale that I am much more comfortable with. :-)

I have also been warned to stay out of Lakewood.  I guess the town is a bit more aggressive.  I do not know when, who or how I heard it.  Kinda like a ghost story.
