I know Colorado Springs can be quite…iffy. I was curious if anyone had recommendations to stay?  

I’ve only been to see friends, love manitou springs and garden of the gods. I remember great places to eat downtown but some areas didn’t look particularly safe…

Some time ago I stayed at a very nice hotel near the Colorado Springs airport.  There actually were 2 side by side.  The area was good, but not in the downtown area where there are restaurants and such.
