Your point is completely valid assuming no one will break the rules.confused_smile

Just because of all of this retarded bullshit we are not having a Halloween party?!

Cum on guys - I already got my costume and everything (it isn't even October, I know but I'm starting to get nervous)!

XXX-Giselle

Maybe we need to arrange a private party, my dear :)

Ah Ha Ha Ha!!!!!

Some of us sorry souls would love a picture of the costume.

should something  happen.  They can now can be charged with felonies as the facilitators of prostitution.  Fortunately for the party goers (both boys and girls) should something go wrong, they will still have only a misdemeanor arrest to be bothered with unless they have priors or they are agency owners.  But then again as long as everybody follows the rules at M & G there would never be a problem,  but it only takes one. We are all, including the hosts of gatherings, protected by the first amendment. Are you a constitutional law attorney? I disagree with you

All bets are off when shady things happen at a M & G. It only takes one you know. Just saying, then you can throw the constitution out the window.  Not a lawyer just a realist.  Enjoy your fantasy. (not that I have ever seen anything that would give police reason to enter and remove people from a M & G) but it could and has happened else where.

The assembelance of a group of people for any lawful purpose can not be deemed an illegal assembly by law enforcement. Point in fact, how many years did it take the feds to bust the Chicago Mob? Simply put, the assembly of the mobsters was not against the law. Their recorded discussions concerning illegal activities are what got them into trouble.

Please bear with me. Meet and greets are not unlawful events. I host them here in Houston and in the Carolinas frequently. In December of 09 a M&G hosted here in Houston was busted because the invited guests were negotiating pricing for sexual activities. They also were discussing pricing for illegal narcotics that were brought with to the M&G. The hosts of the Houston meet and greet, a competing board, became complacent with their rules. They did not enforce the no discussion rule of sexual conduct. And more importantly, did not publish/discuss a no tolerance for drug policy. Hence their event was raided and as many as 25 people were arrested for various illegal acts.

While my M&G's in Houston are fairly wild in nature, the attendees are very well screened and the discussion of money for sex is not tolerated. Yes, I have had to ask members of both sexes to leave because they have not followed those rules. The M&G's in the Carolinas are very subdued. A very social event that is fun filled and very relaxing.  Meet and Greets can be hosted legally. The attendees just need to understand the rules and follow them. None of this supposed law changes affect a social gathering. if the planned M&G is going to be more wild in nature, then the host or hostess must make sure that the screening is very thorough. more refined M&G's still need to have screening in place but not as strictly as the others.

Hopefully the M&G's in Chicago will be able to continue and everyone can continue to enjoy themselves. It would be ashame that an interpretation of this change in the law prevents a group of friends from assembling.
