CavalierServente's smart ass comment about 47 "real" orgasms earlier brought this question to mind - how do guys not know when it is real or fake?  I don't get it.  With a real orgasm, there are strong contractions.  The stronger the orgasm, the stronger the contractions.  Those really can't be faked.  I pretty clearly feel that happening when it happens.  Seems pretty clear - contractions = orgasm.  No contractions = no orgasm.

Am I missing something here?

The reasons that girls fake it are pretty obvious:

1) Because it just isn't happening, and the guy isn't going to stop until he feels like he's gotten that O out of you, and you just want wrap it up.
2) Because the fragile male ego can't handle the idea that he didn't give you an O.

What I don't understand is how most guys can't tell the difference.   Those contractions are a dead giveaway.

Its the same reason GFE exists.  All of it is designed for an hour long suspension of disbelief, that an alluring young woman feigns sexual attraction to, hams interest in the conversation of, and pretends to be sexually satisfied by a male whom she has just met.  The hobbyist reads the exaggerated scribblings of an ego boosted reviewer, and expects, if not demands the same experience of the provider on his visit.  Like OP stated, orgasms can be felt, but the mind can be easily fooled, especially if it wants to be.

I occasionally orgasm in a sort of "different" way - through slow meditative processes, nipple play or autonomous sensory meridan response (ASMR). ASMR is like a brain orgasm, a bit hard to explain until you've experienced it! Just something to think about and research.

But yes, vaginal contractions are a sure sign of a classic orgasm in a woman - but I can only speak for myself and the limited amount of women I've been with. There's no mistaking when a man orgasms, lol!

There are different types of orgasms than a traditional physical orgasm.

For example, if someone makes me squirt, I cum but I don't "orgasm."

That being said, I think in this context women who may have a harder time orgasming may "fake" it due to time constraints and satisfaction of the client.

I typically cum if someone is focused on it - sometimes several times. If I don't, I have a hard time saying I did though. But for me, I can be completely satisfied with sex without full-on orgasm.
