The thread below about believability got me thinking.

Anyone gotten totally taken by provider stories (not for extra dollars)?  I'm a pretty skeptical guy and see through horses..t pretty readily.  Can usually tell within two or three minutes what a person is about.  Several years ago, a provider in an eastern city would start each session with reminisces or current stories about... her trips to africa for research, stashes of premium liquor bottles in her estranged fathers house, ph.d. in medical research, what she learned at the recent embassy party, and it goes on.

Our fun parts after the stories  were really pretty good.

Then she was involved in a huge  public bust and it turns out that she was a clerk in a government department, making near minimum wage.  Never asked for any extras, but took me in!
