END OF MESSAGE

From time to time someone posts an inquiry about a provider not seen or heard from in awhile....the provider has either gone UTR, relocated and assumed another name, or simply out of the business for greener pastures......on this version of "Where are they now?"......I'm inquiring about the following. Please respond or pm me if you don't want the world to know what you may know.....also if there is someone you've been thinking about please respond with the name in response to the thread.....

XXXSally
Jamie Doll/Adrienne Davis
Lucy Milano (traveling provider from the New England area)

If a de-listed provider is mentioned than the post is automatically removed. I already had to remove one for that reason, and wanted to give everyone a heads up.

But when we search, de-listed or banned providers only come up as no info found.  Basically the same as if no info was ever provided.  So how do we know how some one is banned or de-listed?

I've wondered the same on occasion. Newbies would have no idea a provider was delisted if they weren't here at the time of delisting. Heck, for that matter, most of us don't know when a provider is delisted unless we're notified back-channel. There should be a difference between a provider who was here and delisted or banned and a provider who was never here. Even more confusing is when a provider requests to be delisted and then comes back.

That's enough confusion for one night :-)

A quick way to find out is to mention their name and you'll notice that you can no longer post. What a country!!

if you already KNOW they are de-listed. That happens sometimes on these boards, and my post was about that in general. There is no "list" for even moderators to check, that would be Admin's territory. There is a way to check about a provider's status...do a board search and click on her "my TER reviews" after you have located a post she made. If that shows that the information is no longer available, then you have your answer.

Does that mean that if a provider asks to have her reviews removed from TER, hence being delisted, that we are not allowed to mention her by name on the boards?

Funtimes and myself are obliged to remove posts that DO mention those particular providers. I thought that giving people the info that those posts will come down, would be helpful to both the members and the moderators.

I can understand not being allowed to discuss a provider banned from TER because of bad behavior on the boards, self reviewing, deceptive practices etc., but I don't understand not being able to mention a delisted provider who asked to have her reviews removed, for personal reasons.  How are those providers any different then those who ask gents not to review them, and so don't have any TER reviews, or providers who haven't yet been reviewed on TER?  Are we not allowed to mention them either?  If the latter are OK to mention, then what's the difference?

If a provider is delisted, whether it be by choice or banning she cannot be mentioned on the discussion boards at all.

Let me explain how delistings work:

A. If a provider is delisted at her own request her reviews are no longer publicly available and her user name is banned. **If a provider requests to be delisted she cannot be discussed on the boards because it is a type of advertising. In the eyes of TER if a provider does not want to be reviewed on TER she cannot advertise on TER via her own means or a WK.

B. If a provider is delisted for fraud or violating site policies her reviews are also removed from public view and her user name is banned.

Short story no matter what,  if a provider is delisted her reviews are removed and user name banned.

If a provider does not want to be reviewed on TER she cannot be discussed either. Not wanting to be reviewed is treated exactly the same as requesting to be delisted.

Users can discuss a provider that has not yet been reviewed that wants to be reviewed, i.e doesn't have a " I do not want to be reviewed" message anywhere on any site she is advertising on.

From this hobbiest view that makes no sense whatsoever.  Many of us use this board to warn hobbiests of bad and dishonest providers.  If a girl gets delisted for bad behavior she now has a free pass and we can't warn each other about her.  There are girls who make long careers out of false advertising and dishonest behavior long after they are delisted taking advantage of the forced silence designated by this rule.  They are better off being delisted, but the hobbiests aren't.   If a girl has been delisted and some WK starts talking about her I think that board members would quickly drown out the WK with more respected voices.  I wish you guys would reconsider this rule.
