Almost everyone, in which, there was only one review, and that reviewer only had one review. Or there is the case that the first review had high marks and susbsequent reviews go down hill from there.

I think it happens as often as every week. Some get away with it, but discerning hobbyists read between the lines. Take 10 reviews and throw out the high and low ratings and peruse the rest looking for consistencies. Your answer is somewhere in the middle of it. When providers, for example, self review, it pretty obvious as tone of voice is pretty evident. The typical whoremonger hates to write reviews and the majority don't. When I see glowing  and flowery language and certain catchphrases, I typically dismiss it as a self-review or that the provider put him up to it. That happens all to often which is why hobbyists who trade favors are traitors. If a hobbyist shills or paints a provider as the best ever, he's likely not seen but a few or he thinks he's getting more for his $.

Not a real good idea.

There have been some independents and agencies that have been busted for self reviews in the past.  They usually wind up getting banned from the site.  I'm sure it still goes on today.  Guess they must be desperate for business.

I spoke to one provider who got caught and then was removed.  She said that a client used her computer to write the review and TER caught it.

Re: When reading reviews, have any of you ever suspected that

Sometimes we are so amazed that a girl with no reviews delivered an exceptional experience we feel compelled to shout it from the rooftops [too dramatic?]

I wrote a review on a new girl [brittany] and let myself get a bit to giddy with the review. The next time I saw her she told he she got a lot of calls asking about her review and was I her pimp :/

Fortunately, some TER boys took my advice and wrote great reviews as well. Sometimes a great review is simply an incredibly satisfied customer. Lesson learned next time I'll get my bearings first before tellin the tale.

Not if she has a lot of reviews. It is not worth the risk of being banned.
