Wish TER would list payment methods available

I find it very difficult to have cash on hand for reasons related to my personal circumstances. I wish TER would add to reviews something about payment methods accepted, as I've had t use a debit card, paypal, and even a personal check in the last few years, but there are lots of providers for whom that's not an option. would like to know who it IS an option for so I don't waste lots of time. (2 providrs were very nice about taking a check, maybe understandable, as it was at my home, so where was I gonna go after all, but they both sweem to have vanished). Any advice?

Given that this is an illegal business, most guys and ladies would prefer NOT to have traceable records of illegal transactions.

Why would you want to give out a personal check..and why in the world would a gal accept this (unless you knew each other awfully well)?  

Discretion is paramount in this "hobby"...and leaving trails like breadcrumbs is just not discreet.

then go to Walmart, Whole Foods, Target, etc...buy some tic-tac's and use your debit card and ask for the max cash back each time. at least you'll have fresh breath.
or, you can get with the real world and go to an ATM.

Obviously you don't begin to understand. I guess I have to really spell it out.
In late 2008 I had a stroke. I can't walk. I'm in a wheelchair. I have a paralyzed right hand. I am unable to leave the house without assistance, including help getting down the stairs and someone carrying my wheelchair down the stairs.

I wish I could just stroll around and "buy some tic tacs." But I can't. I get to leave the house rarely, mostly to go to the doctor.

On rare occasions, just twice to be exact, in the last two and a half years, I've managed to find a provider to come here when I've been left at home alone for a few hours because every member of my family has gone somewhere. And while both times, they told me they could take paypal, both times their paypal account wasn't working right for some reason, so on both occasions, rather than just leave, they were kind enough to accept a check.

Given that I don't go anywhere outside my home unassisted, it is a little difficult to explain to my kids or wife why I need them to go to the cash station with my debit card to get me a few hundred in cash to have on hand. Delivered pizza doesn't cost THAT much, and what else do I need cash for?

So look, before you condemn my concern as "ridiculous," think about how lucky YOU are, that you can just walk out of your home anytime you want and go where you want. I used to be able to. I never will be again. I'd trade places with you in a minute.

So for me, it is paypal, debit card, or check, unless you are going to suggest that I entrust a provider who I've just met with my debit card and have them go to the nearby gas station or 7-11 to get the cash for me. And frankly, faced with the prospect of no sex at all for more months and years, I might even be inclined to take that kind of leap of faith.

Not everything is as easy as you assume for some of us.

but instead, you made a statement that seemed secretive, and yes ridiculous. if you would've stated that to begin with, my 1st post and everyone's posts/remarks would've been much much different and proably more helpful. i'm not apologizing for my comment and neither should anyone else due to the fact that your statement was soooo easily midleading.

Why did he need to say that inititally?  The OP probably didn't wish to reveal such personal information, so he asked a simple question hoping to get some helpful responses from the community.  But typical of the boards, got slammed by all the know it alls.  Nice no apology.

did you see any helpful responses prior to me posting my statement?? Dont think so. All that was posted is "Cash is King", Jerry Springer, Checks Being Traced, Cash Only Homie....etc, etc. Was any of that provide any kind of assistance? Were any of those responses not slamming him as well?? Please.  Now since he clarified the reason as to how this is the reason, you do see a helpful response, do you not? Prior to that, there was nothing.

The problem with PayPal is it's linked to the providers real name. Because I own a small business I am able to accept PayPal without it being connected. The second problem with PayPal us their refund guarantee. The payee could make up a reason to have their $$ refunded even after a completed session.

That is a reason I only offer it to regular clients, or in some cases send them a request for money with a note staring "NO Refunds Given for Any Reason".

Knock on wood I haven't had a problem, and I you become a girls regular and she trusts you- it should be ok. Also, if you get a regular girl consider Western Union. She could give you the name of a friend to send it to from your computer.

I found it necessary to save over a period of time, saving some here and there until I have enough to see a provider until my situation recently changed.  I always preferred paying in cash as checks and credit cards leave a trail.   Hopefully there is a way you can stash enough cash to continue your hobby.

And why not just ask the lady what her payment options are in your initial contact?  Does TER have to do everything for you?
