I know reviews are completely subjective and to be taken with a grain of salt. I suspect most ladies have developed a thick skin when it comes to a less than stellar review.  

I'm not trashing the guy who wrote the review and not trying to question  why his scores are as they are or not wanting him to justify anything as he certainly has no obligation to do so.. He's entitled to his rating system.  

I've had the pleasure of seeing this lady and in my mind her looks are a long way from a 5. As far as the quality of the session....perhaps he caught her on a bad day or for whatever reason, the vibe is just not there and things don't click. While the review seemed to state otherwise and indicted all went well, he chose a 6 for performance.  

Personally, if I were researching a provider to visit, I would see the very consistent ratings and reviews and likely just gloss over this one and schedule a session. Do the ladies just shrug it off as well or does it bother them?  Do ladies ever go back and contact a guy and ask why a low rating even though the review was positive?

Yes, for sure you have to have thick skin to be a provider!
I look at how they graded their other dates and check those girls out.
Some men always score the ladies low.  So you have to take that into consideration.

Toss out the high and the low and that should give you a pretty accurate picture. I prefer to see a variance of scores because nobody is perfect. I have seen her and in my opinion it's a little low, but I don't believe in challenging others reviews.
 

This is the hobby life.... A provider maybe a 10 to one client then a 5 in another... No one is 10 all the time... If I was a hobbyist I would see a provider with different rating on reviews!!! It seem like they are REAL PEOPLE!!!

Whom ever you are that's just unnecessary, if you don't like her or not into it there is a block feature and you don't have to see it ever again.  She went out of her way to stick up for me and I'm thankful for that.  I don't understand why you would be so angry or why people get so worked up over these boards to somewhat imaginary people.

Basically means I don't give a fuck. One of the first advice I had in this business was honey you won't please 100% of the people all the time. That's correct advice and I'm not going to beat myself up over it. This post has already addressed more time out of me then I particularly care about. I do need to stick up for myself and my business. You gentleman also have and will never have a single clue what it's like to be a woman when a session starts severely going wrong.  

I wouldn't say I'm thick skinned but I've been in this business a long time and well this is work and surprisingly I have a real life outside of this.  I don't put my personal self worth or value into a score or what some says about me, did or did not do.  
Do I enjoy my work yes of coarse I've met some amazing people in this business and I've been given some pretty wild opportunities along the way.  Have I met people I don't want to see again sure, don't think every girl is begging for business most of us are pretty financially secure if you know a bit about money management.  

There's is severely two sides to this story and the detail will right now further stay between that individual and I.  

The outcome of this so far, my inbox is unmanageable at the moment between wonderful regulars checking in, to more appointment inquiries booking this week and pre screen through the upcoming month - wow hilarious how that's working out.

Cause what he posted hurt her biz, posting shit like that when she gave a service which if read the review said he would repeat & the OP put on a board where potential new clients see & judge without knowing the real situation isn't cute... That's why I fucking care... I wouldn't want someone to put my link & ask the whole board if that was worrisome.

He said he saw her and thought the scores were very unfair. Maybe we should start over.

I'm very happy to hear that a review that was all in all positive ("Will recommend and repeat too in the near future"), yet with less than impressive ratings hasn't emotionally crippled you nor will it prevent you from paying your rent next month

Certainly the purpose of my question was never to "embarrass" you or to be "FUCKING CLASSLESS" at all.  On the contrary, I like to think I am very respectful to the handful of ladies I have visited within this little subculture of our society. My question was to ask what, if any affect such reviews had on the ladies and how, if at all they responded. I had no intention of "degrading" you or "maiming" you. Actually, if read thoroughly, my posting indicated that I have indeed had the pleasure of meeting you and while I respect the reviewers right to his rating scores, I didn't agree with them. So, no, I would not avoid seeing you, or any lady over one mediocre review or score when your more than impressive quantity of stellar reviews would indicate that you are indeed a lady who should be sought out if the service you provide is what a gentleman seeks. I did and was very happy with the results. In fact, so happy, that I have since referred 2 others.  

While I hope my question or the way in which it was presented, didn't offend or embarrass you, it was a sincere curiosity and I hate to think that you or any other reasonable provider would "beware how classless I am" for posing such a query.

Certainly, this format is for both hobbyist and providers alike. While everyone is entitled to their opinions and is certainly free to contribute, I far more enjoy the less aggressive dialogue. There are quite a few ladies who I actually enjoy reading thoughts and opinions of.  Sage and Erin Black are 2 of many examples of intelligent, articulate ladies who always have a well thought out posting or response or opinion. Even if I don't necessarily agree with every single word they say, I enjoy an articulate response and  perspective.

As for the review in question, I can't see how it would hurt her business. Look at his other reviews, his highest score for appearance is a 7 and one of those girls is a $500 hr girl with SOLID reviews.

He is also a rather new reviewers, he has several reviews but all in the last month, apparently no one has told him yet that a 7 IRL is a TER 9 or 10. His scale is much closer to the GaGa scale than the TER scale

Actually Alyssa probably owes you a big fat thank you. I am almost positive this thread has been very beneficial to her business. Gemma OTOH, that might be another matter, an outlier review rarely will do any real damage to a lady's business, but going BSC on a poster for no good reason often will put a woman on a lot of guy's "must miss list" But I wouldn't worry too much about Gemma, she's done this before and managed to survive, I am sure she will sober up and thing to herself WTF?, but then in another few days or weeks she'll do it again. It's just entertainment to most of us.

And accusations of alcoholism is really hitting below the belt.  Alcoholism and addiction is no joking matter and I really hope that it is not brought up again reguarding any provider or even hobbiest.  If you think someone has a problem dropping them a PM about seeking professional help would be appropriate. Depression is high this time of year as I noticed a thread on another board, not to mention a suicde that came through my twitter feed.  That's devastating and I hope it's nothing I ever have to see come through the community ever again

Gemma's heart might be in the right place, but...
