I'm not surprised by this news, her X-husband Bobby Brown is the big reason she is died today.

Her voice died about 10 years ago when she turned to crack, it never sounded like the the WH I grew up with.

Life goes on.....RIP

I actually had one of her old CD's playing while on my way to see someone . Afterwards went
with another friend to dinner and while we were leaving we saw on the tv the news announcing
her death. She was too young to leave us and I will miss her .

As she hit those high notes and held them for what seemed to be forever.  Very sad tthat she kicked her drug habit and was making a comeback.

How sad to lose such a talented lady.

Dolly Parton, who wrote the song in honor of Porter Wagoner, said that when she wrote it she was able to put money in the bank, but when Whitney Houston recorded it, Dolly was able to buy the bank.
