So this one has been stumping me lately.  I am not sure what to advertise as anymore.  I want to advertise to the right focus group and describe myself appropriately so I am hoping some of you guys ( preferably ones that have met me but I'm open to all of the male point of views.)

I am not 40 yet but getting closer. However, I do not look it and I still have the playfulness of a 21 year old but the skills and knowledge of a 40 year old.  Yes I am sure all older women say that they behave younger. But seriously, I'm at  6 flags on the scary rides, crowd surfing at concerts, diving in the mosh pit, I have every video game console and do MMORPG games all the time and I just enjoy things a younger crowd does. So it's not just a "young at heart" thing. I do behave much younger then I am but have the sense of a more mature person. So it's like all the fun without the ( or as much of ) the stupidity of my 20 something self. By sense I mean I don't drink til I puke, I don't blow all my money on makeup and iphone apps, I own my own home, I save for a rainy day, I don't air every single detail on social media or argue.  etc etc.  I don't get smashed and cuss in front of my kids etc etc.  

So when I look at a 45 year old person, I feel like I'm FOREVER away from that age and I'm not. I've always liked older guys but I don't feel like I'm even remotely near that age. I'm sure its total denial I guess.

Anyway, I'm at a loss. When I think mature, I think late 40's-50's, grandma, wine, bed by 9 and slow and easy lover maker.

So, what do you think mature is? How would you describe someone in my situation? Am I mature just because of my age and sense? Is mature an attitude? Or just the Mommy body looking lady?

I'd love to hear some nice responses.

P.S. In no way am I trying to say negative things about anyone else's behavior. I'm only referring to myself and How i did and do behave. Before anyone is * offended *.

things that most people cant even imagine... and that is in no way property of the "young".  I think you might need to do a self check on what YOU think "mature" is.

I'm in my 30s and people say I look like I'm in my 20s. But how i act gives my age away. People will recognize maturity in you. Those who don't will argue with you showing their maturity. Literally had someone argue with me about my age that I must be 25 or younger because that is what I look like. There is a reason they say card anyone who looks under 40! Lol I can't wait till I Hit 40 and still get carded. Just be you girl and advertise as wild and mature. Everyone definition is going to be different anyways.

I don't get why mature ladies often reduce their advertised age or feel as if they have to put phrases like "young at heart" into their ads. There are plenty of men who want a mature lady, so advertising as mature/milf/mom next door seems correct. Plus, if you give the impression that you are much younger than you actually are, you are setting yourself up for clients to feel deceived and not call or leave negative feedback.  

I can only speak for myself, but I'm looking for experience and enthusiasm, along with a willingness to meet my needs. I've found that the older the lady, the closer I get to what I want, and less bullshit. I wish older ladies wouldn't view their age as a detriment and embrace it as an asset. I don't even bother with the 20 somethings because they rarely know how to meet my needs. Rock that wiser, more experienced profile!

If it makes you feel any better, I checked out your pics and if you say that you are not in your twenties, I believe you.

Because TER won't change it. I asked them to. They combined an old profile I had from years ago from when I was going for older men only and I told the reviewer to put my age as older than what I was then.   No I'm not in my 20s anymore although some people think so but im not in my 40s either! I'm 55!!! jk.

I'm at a loss too LOL, if you think even a 49 year old is a "grandma" lol. I think maybe you need to google the late 40's early 50's crowd and see what they look like now. My generation on average makes most 20 year olds look like a joke (no offense). The majority of younger ladies these days do not know how to take care of themselves like the good 'ol' days. We all have different opinions about age and what is mature. Do what works for you and don't worry about the label so much or maybe you're listening to what is said on here a lil too much.

And how old would you say I look in person? I have been told my pictures do not do me justice but I would rather have ugly pictures and better looking In person than photoshopped pics and have to try to live up to that.

Because it's true, it's not just my opinion. A quick google search and all the sites on the front page will tell you the average age of when someone becomes a Grandmother is 47. So, my guess of late 40's-50's was quite accurate.

 To advertise ourselves we need to describe ourselves, that requires some sort of a label when its in a text format.So I was curious of what people considered mature.  Was it a number? The actions? The looks etc.

It's very important to describe yourself accurately to attract the target audience so I DO have to worry about descriptive labels at least and polling the audience is the best way. I'm here to get business so worrying about what others think and playing off of that is quite important.

It's for a business not my self esteem.
