Unfortunately things come up from sick kids,family matters,etc that is life we are all human and things come up. Sounds like you've just had two instances of bad luck.Usually a good provider will try to make it up to you in the future if possible.
As far as Eros available now that feature makes your ad closer to the top for more visibility. Eros staff themselves will tell us to use that feature to our benefit even if we may not be available right that minute but may be available to make a future booking, available later,etc . Also for example, if we were available in the morning and had that feature on it takes 12 hours for available now status to expire so don't put too much stock in that feature. In other words,don't read to much into that.
Sounds like your upset but I wouldn't take it personally if I were you. Likely if a reputable provider has to cancel it's for a very good reason beyond her control and is not anything that you've done.

I like to plan in advance when I see my trusted providers. One I can see the same day I call her. Another I have to plan in advance so she can get a sitter to watch her kid while we play. She did cancel on me on a few rare occasions. Which is fine with me. I understand things and events come up. We just re-scheduled for another day and time. She's worth the wait.
Planning in advance works well when on tour, but when I am available locally, I like same day or next day appts, especially if I already know the person...
I've never, fortunately, had to cancel on anyone...
For multi-hour bookings, advance notice works better for me...
Hopefully you'll figure out what works best for you, and we should connect, I'll be there in 3 weeks 
How's that for advance planning! I'm even staying at a golf resort during part of my stay, bring your wood!

if you want to be sure you can see the lady you want a short advanced booking is good, 2-3days and rarely more unless you are traveling together or planning an overnight, then more notice can be better. The less notice the less chance you will get to see the provider you actually want to see. IMHO 2-3days give plenty of time for her to plan and confirm as well as making any arrangements that she might need.
Also, there are MANY provider's who are popular/reviewed well but still huge flakes when it comes to keeping appts.
You know what they say, fool me once shame on you..Fool me twice shame on me. Give a girl a couple of tried if you are determined, if she flakes both times, move on. GL
Unless you gave fantastic screening/verification info plus reference I suggest plan ahead..
I like to plan ahead and rarely make same day appointments. For locals, I usually make first contact 2-3 days in advance. When I'm traveling and I know my schedule is set, I often make appointments a week or more in advance.
I have had an occasional cancellation, but that can happen with anyone. So, I always have a plan B to fall back on, especially when I'm traveling.
But it's important to keep in mind that so much can happen within the time frame of you two meeting, like family emergencies, accidents, babysitters canceling, etc.
Also keep in mind that perhaps it's not her posting she's available on Eros. It's possible that it can be an assistant that's running her profile... there's so many possibilities and the only ones who really have the answers are the ladies that have cancelled with you.
Me on the other hand, I love a date that's booked in advance. I enjoy planning for it, the communication that sparks a fire in our imagination and the anticipation that builds in between. I just look forward and really enjoy preparing for a date that awaits me, personally.

I can sometimes accept last minute requests from easily verifiable gentlemen or previously seen friends, but references and verification takes time. I only book a venue when I have a confirmed visit.
Same day appointments sometimes do work out, but, for me, at least 24 hours notice is good, 48-72 even better!

My vanilla career makes it very hard to do any same day appointments. I need at least 3-4 days notice for a booking. I love advanced bookings. Plus it builds up anticipation.
Had something set up based off of the ad board about 3 weeks in advance and was cancelled on morning of. Pretty frustrating to say the least.
...but generally if someone is pre-screened ahead of time them more often than not it makes "last minute" bookings very easy.
I wouldn't let your 2 recent experiences sour/keep you from planning ahead.
especially if you have given me all the information I need to feel safe well in advance without a problem. Definitely same day works better if I have seen you before but is not impossible.
we're meant to meet. No matter how advance notice (or not) dates are scheduled. I chalk it up to the universe ultimately making it happen as it still takes 2 of us to show up.

I don't know- but nearly every time I reach out for a same day appointment, the lady is not available. But, I dont plan a week in advance, I plan a day or two. Maybe try that.
First of all I'm sorry this happened to you but things do happen and sometimes we can't help it! i usually like to plan ahead as I am a low volume provider and when you do book a special day with me I like to be at my 100% so you can enjoy me to the fullest. I think that if ever a cancelation there should be a co side table amount of notice given ... though I do understand that last minute things can ruin the appointment. till this day I have never canceled on anybody as I appreciate when others value my time.It seems nowadays people like to waste it and I know how you feel.
