I’d say go for it if you like it and enjoy it awesome, if you find its not working good for you move on from it.  
I wouldn’t say your retired from SW, but if you no longer want to see clients in person and work a bit more on your own time remotely do it.
I’d hate to see if anyone ‘looks down’ on this, it’s your life.  Anyone who looks down on it is just an troll anyways.   I put in enough years escort and now do massage. I’m like a zillion times happier especially feeling like I don’t have to cater to every single thing, person, arrangement, fetish....etc.  
I personally have no experience or interest in web cam work So I don’t have much input on that part of the industry. There are a good number of women and local to Chicago that post a fair amount of web cam links to their twitter and it seems most women who enjoy this offer snap chat packages. Just something to also look into.  I’d be nice if one or two of them would weigh in on their experience.
