Young...or just poor?  Any time a guy has to insist on the face being shown, we wonder if he even has the money to spare.  A gentleman with spending money doesn't quibble over spending his money.  Trust us on this one.
Faces are covered to protect identity almost always.  Rarely would it be used because the girl is flat ugly.
