Chicago

I've had my say on the Sports Talk board, but I just have to say something here -- one thing only -

It's his home and his team. When Shaq went to Miami, he said it was Wade's team.  After his leg surgery, I am sure he knows his best years are limited and he now has some help.  Plus, we have had a string of buster Toys R Us coaches here in Chicago and he probably wasn't interested in learning another new system.  Can't believe Del Negro got picked up, even by the Clippers.

I'm happy with Boozer. We needed an inside scorer bad! Plus he's a 20/10 guy, which is not easy to find.

Chicago coaches have been the scapegoat for a lack of player talent in recent years. Most NBA execs and personnel speak extremely highly of Del Negro. The NBA is about player talent not coaching. Why do you think LA, Boston, Orlando, Cleveland have dominated for consecutive years? When Miami is in the finals next year how many people will even know the coaches name? Not many.

I think Boozer is a quality guy to get. If he can just stay healthy, him and Noah will be tough down low. Wish they could get that outside scorer though. That would give Rose even more room to operate.

Bball is still a team game. 3 guys will not win you any rings.

I could go on, and on, and on . . . but I won't.  One comparison:  Butch Van Breda Koff v. Bill Sharman.

I would expect execs to say he's great to protect their lame ass decisions for hiring them.

I've "bumped" into Lebron twice in Chicago and he is an a**. I can't imagine he and Wade will mix well.

He has made the WRONG choice.

Just my .02.

Well....Kobe and Shaq did work...They did win 3 rings together....But I get your point, the two monster egos might not get along...They proly will win a few rings together, but might not be buddies off the courts..
