Visa Vanilla didn't work for me

The transaction wouldn't go through. When I emailed customer service, they said that the site doesn't take prepaid cards anymore. This was about 6 months ago, so maybe they've changed policies again since. Who knows?

Hi fellow Hobbyists,

My bank debit card will not work & I do not have a credit card!!  I read that a Visa gift card will work is this true?? If true, I want to buy a month from CC Bill!!  It costs $25, is there a service charge?? I have PM messages that have accumulated since February & I'm curious to read them!!

Let us know what works. This question comes up a lot on the boards and from those it would appear that some gift cards work and some don't.   Different Visa cards may be issued by different financial institutions.

You have to call and register your card with a zip code to make online purchases! Or go on their website.. I've been using these cards lately. They are a gem.. :)

I thought I did that and it still didn't work, but it's been awhile--maybe my memory is wrong. I'll try again next time I renew.
