Please don't take this the wrong way--I don't mean to whine and I'm not asking for special rates or anything, but I've got to say that the most frustrating thing about the current economic climate is the effect its had on my hobbying. Prices on everything have gone up, including the hobby, and wages have remained relatively flat. It leaves someone like myself with the equally unappealing choices of:

1. Accepting that I need to find a less expensive hobby.
2. Taking my chances on BP and risking getting arrested (or worse).
3. Decreasing the frequency of my entertainment even further, taking the chance that all my references will forget me.

I can't be the only one struggling with this--I can't imagine that everyone on this site is a multi-millionaire. How are you coping? Is there another choice I'm missing? Some UTR porn star quality lady who still asks for donations like it's the year 2002? Anyway, that's my lament. Now I'm back to reading the board and saving up for my next quality encounter.

This isn't exactly a new topic. Still, being able to put away a few hundred dollars once in a while doesn't make you a millionaire. And, it depends on your references. I mostly use RS2k, but when I need to I've used references from ladies (whom I had asked at the time) that I only saw once in the first half of last year and they've come through.

The only (real) solution that your choices offer is #3 if you want to stay in this hobby. Get RS2k, and only see ladies that will rely solely on your RS2k info. That way, you don't have to worry about shaky references.

Sorry, I never read GD--I didn't mean to beat a dead horse. I guess the fear I've always had about RS2K, that someday they're going to hand over all their records to the boys in blue, is probably unfounded since they've been successfully doing business for so long. I might have to give them a try.

i can relate, I have had to cut back on my hobbying, significantly, just simply too many bills.  I too get concerned that my references will forget about me, but honestly the good ones always remember teh nice guys, so I am safe there.    Today , however is the first time I have been on teh boards and I have saved up, so actually I think I will be partaking this afternoon / evening some time.  That is actually what brought me to teh boards today.
