I'm sure many providers have been stood up at the last minute or had a "no show." I can understand their frustration. Here's my story: I arranged to meet Saturday evening at my 5 star hotel on Michigan Avenue a rather well reviewed provider. The verification process, begun a week before arriving in the city, was thorough -- including providing contact info for two previous providers I've met -- but efficient and without hassle. After getting the OK, we remained in contact via text message. Saturday morning after checking into the hotel I gave my hotel information. We confirmed the time and I was told to expect a good time. About 15 minutes before the scheduled time I received another text. I assumed that she had arrived early. No such luck. She said she had to cancel. No explanation offered. So I went to the bar to have a drink and decide if a last minute substitute might be in order. Before I could finish the first drink, guess who walks in with another gentleman? Yep. The lady whom I thought I was to meet. When her date left briefly, I suppose to the restroom, I walked up to her and introduced myself. She shrugged her shoulders and said, "Well." That's it. Nothing more. I travel to Chicago about every 3 weeks or so, but I'm not going to give up on you ladies because of one bad encounter.
If you prefer to communicate the name via PM, feel free. Otherwise, your post is of little value.
Along with the fact that this person has zero reviews, you are 100% right. There is no need to feel compromised when you are a virtual unknown as a reviewer. There is no good reason not to name her right here in this thread as opposed to PMs.
It's nice that you want to share this information, but, you really should share as otherwise, it is useless to us all and would be better left unsaid. PM me (us) if you can. We all need to know who can be trusted and, more importantly, who cannot!
And enables provider to continue her disrespectful ways.

Why not post her name on the board? It would let us know who it was and allow her to share her reason, albeit it probably isn't a good one!

I find it rather strange, that the provider that canceled on you, books a date with a guy in the same exact hotel as you. Not to mention, the exact time you are at the bar, you spot her with her client? Talk about perfecting timing. And on that note, I'm assuming she has crystal clear face pics on her website for you to spot her in public like that, and assure that's even her
He may have a new name or a different story, but he will return.
Hopefully for his sake he can provide some proof/name, etc to provide meat to the vegan story.
