For "trouble makers" to be called on the carpet!! I hope for that persons sake that they realize their follys and grow up!! I have known Soj for years and he is a stand up guy and has been doing a wonderful job as Moderator. He deserves kudos for taking on the massive responsibility of "policing" what some would describe as a troubled board. Those who would try to take advantage of his kindness or try to twist it to their benefit deserve to be moderated at least and in my evil opinion to be banned!! Being a member of TER is a privilege not a right!!

Moderators commonly have to deal with all sorts of bad people, and I’m no different. A few months ago, I found it necessary to moderate a longtime Chicago provider. She was moderated for being disrespectful to me in PMs, as well as being disruptive in an ad thread for a provider from out of town, who wanted no part of her input.  Five days into a 7 day moderation period, I received a PM from this provider that stated she would tell Admin that a review I had written, of a session I had with her previously, was fake. Without reply to her, I forwarded this PM directly to Admin. As expected, this provider then started her campaign against me. It continues to this day, as she frequently complains about me to Admin, and also to my board partner Funtimes61. I have been stewing about this for a long time, and anyone who knows me…knows that isn’t good for the person sticking it to me. I’m definitely not the type to lay down and take it, as this post will now illustrate.

The most recent incident of this provider causing trouble, was one in which a banned provider, had been told by this “pain in my ass”(referred to as “troublemaker” in future sentences), that she had received word from me about the banned provider causing her trouble on the boards. The fact of the matter is.. I wouldn’t help this troublemaker provider out of any situation at all! Information passed to this troublemaker did not come from me, and that can be confirmed by Admin. Hopefully the banned provider is lurking and reads this post, as she is being played for a fool by the troublemaker. Like I said…Admin can confirm this.

Now I have been accused of all sorts of things since I became a moderator earlier this year, but the most ridiculous things pertain to my being some sort of a favor trader. The kind of guy who trades sex for favors on this very board. Providers have little trouble putting up their ads, and getting their freak on, without any help or say-so from moderators. That’s how the world really works, but some would have you believe otherwise. Don’t be deceived! Due to an injury I sustained a few years ago, and subsequent surgery, I can barely get out of bed in the morning on my GOOD days! On bad days I can’t get up til late in the afternoon. So the accusation of sex for trade is bizarre, ludicrous…and even funny to those who have seen me at my home just trying to get from place to place. I have hobbied exactly TWICE since New Years, and I paid the full rate each time. I just haven’t felt up to the challenge.

This post is slightly embarrassing to write, as you can imagine, but I’m not going to let this troublemaker provider slander me anymore. I am serving notice right here, in this open letter to her, that I will not keep her identity a secret if she persists further. She had better start acting like an adult, and a productive member of this community. She might find out just how much she is disliked if she continues on her bitter quest to slander me. I used to like this troublemaker, as she can be quite charming when she wants to be, but I’ll never fall for her bs again. I will treat her fairly on the board as that is my job. I respect the duty I was appointed to, and I will continue to be fair to everyone. I like this community and have quite a few friends here.  I apologize to those not directly involved for airing all of this, but slander must be dealt with publically.

Hang in there.  Those of us who know you, know that you strive to be "fair in your dealings with others," even when it is difficult to do so!!

I'm sorry this is happening Soj. Crap like this is one reason I don't participate much anymore. I told you this wasn't going to be a fun job my friend.

As for the provider who's causing all these problems, I hope she gets what she deserves. I'm tired of the backstabbing nature a very few ladies exhibit. Just so you know ladies, the guys know who you are and you'll notice a drop-off in your business over time. We entered this for fun without drama so those of you causing drama won't be patronized. Think twice about backstabbing other providers because it's making us think twice about seeing you.

During Mod 101 they beat all of the feelings out of us so we just act by instinct. The truth of the matter, or my opinion, is that Sojourner7 is doing an outstanding job. He came onto a fairly hostile board and co-moderates four other boards with me and has picked up each boards unique vibe very well. He is well respected and aside from a few wierd fetishes that we don't need to discuss here, he is a pretty normal guy. Being a Mod is not easy as sometimes you have to put aside your personal biases and allow postings that you may completely disagree with. Sometimes postings are from people you may know and the rules of the board prohibit their postings. You must put your relationships aside. Trust me when I say this is very difficult to do sometimes.

The Chicago Board has a very unique group of people and everyone has their own opinion. Some are more outgoing than others, and there have been times where it has been very difficult to keep the peace. Lately, everyone has been awesome and the board has been smooth. That makes for easy moderating, thank you.

Hats off to you Soj. I think your doing an amazing job. Keep up the good work, I'm sure there are many people here and on the other boards we moderate together that appreciate the effort that you put in. Now don't let this go to your head. Get your ass back to work.

Like P_P, I haven't had much to say on the board lately.  But . . .
. . . when someone has time to be a moderator in large part because of a serious injury, then lady, whoever you are, you can just piss off showing your appreciation by telling lies.  Shouldn't lie about anyone, of course, but this is pathetically ungrateful.
P.S., thanks, Sojourner, for helping with FT to bail me out of trouble a while ago.  Sorry to let it out that you're really a good guy.

Just call her out and be done with it. When you coddle fools, they come back to bite you in the worse way. She probably has already lost business over this and I don't think she's a good person even in her real life. Let people know the next time she rears her ugly head in any way.

You can't please everyone, but when you do your job honestly and above board, you sure do please most of us. Keep up the good work, Soj. We're behind you because we appreciate what you've done.
