I think this is a pet peeve with a lot of people, but I just did a clean format of my hard drive to start from scratch, and while it's hard to do, I'm trying to avoid any type of malware/spyware/adware from being installed on my computer. One particular ad from one particular ad company kept popping up on specific escort web sites and I thought it was a problem with my infected computer. But I still keep getting the pop up ad (after a full start from scratch, reinstall windows, etc) and I also tried with other computers.
This particular ad appears on the screen and doesn't allow you to view the site until you click to remove it. I will not do that and will instead restart my computer or force a shut down of my browser. I'm not even sure if that helps, but I'm definitely not clicking on the thing. And, therfore, I will never visit the provider web site. My friendly recommendation is for providers to check their web sites and make sure they are not offering up pop up ads. Especially ads that force the user to click on them. Just my 2 cents I would list the company that is serving them up but I think that is against msg board rules.
I've clicked on a provider's website, listed on her TER review, only to be taken to an escort service, Ashley somebody. I click it and it goes away and the provider's ad is underneath. I suspect it's a hosting site where girls get a huge discount.
I think you are correct about it coming from the hosting site. That's the biggest reason why I decided to start the thread. It's not meant to bash, but I would guess that a lot of girls are even unaware that their site is producing those ads. They might be enticed by a "free" hosting site that is supposed to be escort friendly, but they don't realize that their site is throwing up intrusive ads that turn away a lot of clients.
There was a recommendation just a few threads down that I was interested in. When I clicked on the link, it was that same escort pop up ad. http://www.melfrench.callgirlfiles.com Beware who you choose as advertising and hosting partners.

If the ad pops up, I'm off the website, so I never see the lady's ad, which I clicked on and which she wants me to see. The women should definitely check their websites and purge the pop ups if they can. The pop ups are costing them business.
