friend has been wondering since lockdowns ended...

I've had a few dates that included seeing a movie during our time and my favorites were either booked as clock free extended date or an overnights. So, my recommendation would be to make sure that the allotment of time booked is one where both of you wouldn't feel rushed by a 2 hour movie, 1-2 hour dinner and some private time before and/or after.
