Lol, just thought I'd throw in some humor, however, I am requesting you pm me with a bit of assistance please.

I have never had the opportunity or quite frankly the gumpshun to visit Chicago, recently it seems as if the place is calling my name, LOUD!  

I was wondering if I could get some local input as to where a good safe area, (place specific is nice) for an independent lady to visit is? I'll have my own transportation so that won't be an issue but what is convenient and most of all safe for me and any friends that I may make along the way.

I have never been there, i know no one and have no knowledge of anything at all besides the Bulls, go Scottie P, lol. So again anything would be a helpful start.

The Midway area is a good and safe place. Plenty of mid leve hotel motels around the airport lots of shopping and resturants and plenty of middle class hard working men to have a great time with.. Good luck hope ins helped..

I love the North/NW Ohare area as well as Oakbrook/Lombard area. And I split up my time between both so as to cater to different areas. About 20-30 minutes away from each other. Both are conveniently located to the ( I )corridors. Never stayed in the Midway area so maybe you could do all three! As usual just be safe!

south loop hotel by sox park is nice . close to downtown, mccormick and very safe area.

Suburbs have a few nice areas.  

Schaumburg and Oakbrook are nice - they are near nice malls and restaurants so you will have something to do when you are free.

Addison is also decent.
