Any body have any ideas for me? I'm looking for a hotel either  close to downtown or the south loop that has parking close by? It's crazy trying to find one unless u know the area I think...

There is a lot of parking in the Loop area. The issue is how much are you willing to pay. If you want something cheap, good luck. If you are staying the weekend, some hotels have specials that include parking. Check the hotel's website.

That's why many of us prefer the suburbs. Oakbrook/Lombard hotels do not charge for parking, although near O'Hare it can run $20 or more for a session.

I saw a gal in Rosemont one time, and was not warned about it costing $20 to park at the hotel. Since i have never stayed at a hotel in Rosemont I didnt realize that the hotels all charge parking. Typically I bring the exact amount of cash with me. This caused an issue I was not happy about
