.....have they been cleared up? There was some suspicion about her reviews a while ago. At one time all the reviewers only reviewed her. I checked and she has four pages of reviews (a lot for a relatively new girl on the scene) and half of the reviewers are still one-timers. This still seems a little odd to me, plus several posters on the other big Chicago board have complained about her being a no show.
Am I making too much of this? Is there anyone out there who would like to set me straight?
I have explained this before over and over... this is in the past.. I have made some mistakes and have improved my scheduleing techniques and I now have a partner helping with my previous difficulties.. As for my reviews.. you can think what you want.. but when I ask for a review from someone that has seen me most of them say they have never done a review, or they would rather not do a review because they don't want to give out personnal information, or they are married and they don't want their wives to find out.. I am tired of explaining this over and over.. Sounds like your looking to cause some trouble for me. Lets just ask everyone to throw a punch at Iowahotty..
My assistant as of 6-16-04 is working with me on scheduling my appointments... So I am sure there will be no more screw up's on my part.. I also want to remind you that I have been stood up many times and have had many last min cancels so it goes both ways.. with the client and the provider.. I hope I do not hear anymore about this.. if anyone has any concerns, questions or would like to rip me one just e-mail my @ [email protected]. This is not the place for bashing someone.. I guess it's easier because we don't know who you really are??? Have some respect(and balls) and talk to me one on one... Thank you for respecting my wishes..
If you have questions about the review why not e-mail the reviewer and ask them if he made it up?? Or maybe find out for yourself.. I can't read the juicy details so maybe you can judge for yourself.. Good Luck

Aren't these statements contradictory? How is it you can remain anonymous while posting, but not when giving a review? Either way you have to sign up for TER. As far as bashing you goes, this is a DISCUSSION board. I made no accusations, I was only looking to clear up some possible misinformation. Instead I'm accused of trying to start trouble with you and told that I have no balls because I don't talk to you one on one.
Let me tell you something, contacting providers about complaints usually gets no response. The emails usually get ignored and if you persist, you're called a stalker and your name is put out over these same boards or through backchanneling. Asking these questions on a discussion board will hopefully bring topics out that should be talked about among the members of our community.
Maybe your reputation is unfair, I don't know that's one reason why I started this thread. What I do know is this:
1)You have a history of not showing up to appointments.
2)You've hired an assistant to help you with your scheduling, I think that's a professional move.
3)You have four pages of reviews and over half of the reviewers have covered no one else and they have no posting history. You may not like it, but that large number implies that they're are either self-reviews or shills looking for special treatment.
4)None of these one time reviewers have come to your defense yet.
5)I don't recall you ever explaining this "over and over" like you mentioned in your post.
Finally some free advice (and I'm not going to pretend that you care), if you want to help some people's perception of you then do it by being more professional (which you seem to be trying to do), instead of shrill and insulting like you were in your post.

The very positive reviews of Iowahotty are completely legit. She is a wonderful lady and an amazing experience. I think her popularity has caused some scheduling problems in the past, but I know she is trying very hard to prevent these problems in the future. She is a real sweetie and drop dead beautiful!
I read that she now has a assistant and hopefully will clear up her scheduling conflicks ...it would be nice if we could hear from someone that is more than a 1 time poster
Never did get to see her. Scheduling was a nightmare. Probably an excellent provider but she had no clue as to the administrative side of business and client needs beyond the physical. Suggested that she get an assistant which I hear she has done. Hope she has learned from mistakes.
I've never seen IowaHotty nor have I attempted to. With regards to her reviews, it's my opinion that some are bogus while others are real. I would rule out any reviews provided by "one-time" posters. I believe these were written to increase business and when some real clients finally saw her, they posted authentic reviews.
Every time someone has publicly questioned the validity of her reviews, she has lashed out at them with a vengeance... I don't find this common among the other providers who people have questioned. Once I questioned them and she responded that her clients want to remain anonymous... well that's why we all have "handles"... posting a review doesn't reveal your identity.

You automatically assume because a person only posted 1 review that it is fake - and then you start taking pot shots at the woman reviewed. I have news for you - at one point in time or another you also had only posted one review - was it also a fake? I know you say you aren't making accusations, fool yourself if you like, but you certainly are making negative implications!
Its like yellow journalism and a reporter saying something like "Sally Jones was murdered on the night of 23 January 1998" and then suddendly sticking a microphone in your face and demanding "Where were you on the night of 23 January 1998?". You most probably don't have an answer do you? He has made no accusation but you are assumed guilty by implication if not accusation!
Its guys like you that keep people like me from posting that first review. Why should I post it? You'll only imply it is a fake and hold it up for ridicule.
I had mistakenly thought TER wanted new members and fresh blood - you certainly do everything you can to make sure that doesn't happen.
Finally - yes this is my first ever, and possibly last, post on TER Chicago's board. Congratulations you have accomplished your mission.

I think most would agree that it does look suspicious for a number of reviews of a particular lady be the only review by that hobbyist. In that case, I would look at theose with more than one review. As for you, let's assume you will post more reviews and then I'd be more interested in hearing your opinion.
the guidlines for becoming a VIP member of this site which provide access to the reviews? There are one of two ways... pay or contribute reviews for a free membership... but you have to contribute a minimum of TWO to get that free membership. Why stop at posting just one?... most first time members initially submit two at once... I did and so did many others.
Like I said before, Iowa Hotty does have positive reviews from legitimate clients... but the presence of "so many" one time reviews makes people suspect. The idea of emailing the poster is nice, but it can't be done if the poster is not a VIP member.
Perhaps it's beneficial for one to maintain their handle from board to board. I have been in the hobby for 8 years... I've been participating in forums for 7. During that time I have never used a handle other than ThomasJenkins... people know me and I have credibility.... people may not agree with my opinions, but they know who they're getting their information from. Changing handles from website to website and creating alias after alias only serves shoots down that credibility and make others suspicious.
