I know it's a long shot but I'm looking for someone to meet up with on Thanksgiving. This is another holiday where I am by myself and I am sick of it.

Sucks to be alone on Thanksgiving. Totally been there many times myself and I feel for you. When my kids were young they'd alternate one year with me, one year with their mom on Thanksgiving. I got tired of the years when they weren't with me and I was alone so last year I booked a trip to Vegas for the holiday. Best decision ever!

Vegas on Thanksgiving is like the biggest singles party I've ever seen. It's as if every person from SoCal who is single and has family out east but doesn't want to go ALL that way to hear mom/dad/Uncle Bob comment on their love life goes to Vegas. Seriously, everyone I talked to there had the same story, "alone on Thanksgiving, traveling back home sucks, so I figured I'd come here since it's not that long of a drive." There was not a dull moment the entire trip, and more than a few providers in the area who were available for "Thanksgiving Dinner."
