Ok, we have a bunch of relatively new members on the board lately and the ole message board is beginning to smell like a barn that's full of shit. Simple rules keep everyone playing nicely in the sand box together. Please follow them and in time you too will be a salty ole board veteran.

1. Be a great observer. Watch what is happening and don't try to change the direction that a thread is flowing in unless its relevant.

2. We have a lot of established members. Some post and some not so often. Before you assume a person is new, use the Search function on top and do a Search on their handle before telling them to STFU because they don't know what they are talking about.

3. Only one alias per thread. Screw up and risk getting your aliases flipped.

4. Respect, if you don't give it don't cry to me when you get a taste of your own brand.

5. Contribute, but do so with great care to make certain your info is rock solid.

6. Don't fuck with the ladies weekly ads. Enough said.

7. Most importantly, remember that the Chicago White Sox will always suck. LOL

Have fun make some friends. Debate will happen, its healthy and good for all. Just be civil when doing so.

Ok now I have to go relax in this beautiful Texas weather, kinda chilly today, 70ish.

Now I am gong to have to look at your moderation decisions in a whole different light. Anyway, how are you going to deal with it if current management and ownership does, in fact, end the era of lovable losers? I suppose you will whine about how they have destroyed the "Wrigley Field experience."

For all that, I think they are on the right track and wish them well, even if it has been such a badly run organization for so long. While the Adam Dunn signing probably deserves the designation of the worst free agent signing ever (hopefully, he will return to something near to his career performance in 2012, but that does not change 2011), the list of bizarre and just plain dumb decisions by the Cubs is only exceeded by the inexplicable way in which the fan base has applauded some of the worst... Hmmm, I think I will start a thread.

None of us were around the last time our poor Cubbies went for the gold and I suspect most of us won't be around the next time they do. Still, I love Wrigley Field, drinking in the bleachers, and watching the girls which most of the time is more interesting than the game. But then I'm a perv so don't let me skew the results
