So bummed, scheduled a early morning appt with a provider I have seen numerous times over the years and she totally bailed on me. Damn I hate when this happens….

What (if anything) will she do to rectify the situation? I find that relationships are not made or broken over accidents, but how we manage our accountability around them. My own cancellation policy holds me just as accountable as my patrons, and I put it right at the top of my booking page.
If she doesn't have a cancellation policy that holds her accountable, perhaps start with asking her for what you would like in order to rectify the situation. It would be a shame for an unresolved issue to sour a long standing relationship!

Something happened. I would call her to reschedule. It's happened to me. No worries. I reschedule for another day.

Thanks for both your comments. I think I just needed to vent. I reached out to her, about possible remedies. Not looking to burn her down or stop seeing her. We’ll see what happens. Again thanks everyone.

When I have to bail last min, I try to give an extra 30 min on the next one to make it up.  Doesnt that seem fair?

Did not answer my calls as I waited in the hotel parking lot.  Texts too.  She had a drinking problem so I suspect she was passed out.  I stopped seeing her after.

Not a fun experience.  I have had at least 50 encounters since, but there is always doubt in my mind when I text for a room number.

That's all well and good if she offers compensation on the next visit for cancelling out on the last visit. The keys words being "If She Offers" a compensation. If the client asks or demands for a compensation that would be 100% wrong and out of line.

That’s absolutely fair! Thanks…. Would you consider it in bad taste if a gentleman asked for this? Perception is often very different, from one side of the equation to the other.

I had this happen to me once on the day of meeting. But it was just a scheduling issue. After texting for a few days and setting up a day and time, she decided to wait until that day when I texted her to confirm everything to tell me "I'm not her target market".
