And this is from the client's perspective...

Apropo
Secretly Yours
Michelle's
Chicago Cover Girls

Haven't used any of the others in a while, but these folks are friendly and communicate to the client, in my experience.

But we all have different experiences.

Good luck!

Don't know about MTA, never had dealings with them.

Regarding Michelles there are caveats. They may tell you how they welcome feedback to improve the agency, but you better not have the audacity to take them up on it. Nick's mental health is dubious and he reacts with great hostility if any criticism is made even if it is done politely and is on the mark. I was one of a batch (there are at least 3 other TER & another site,BD, regulars I know of) of good long time Michelles customers that got black listed for no apparent reason. My crime? I was "too critical and never made any compliments". Not even remotely true as they had many new customers on the basis of my (a loyal Michelles customer of 5 years) recommendations, but even if it were so long as I met my obligations as a client this purported crime would hardly be a reason for being blacklisted. This wave of blacklistings occurred during Michelles big push to transform itself into a "boutique" (Nick's own description) agency. Translation - we want customers for whom money is no object and who never utter a word.

Well it's now several years later and based on a periodic survey of Michelles offerings one can hardly say the transformation to a "boutique" agency was a success. Maybe a better business model is treat your good customers right even if they're not perfect.

Anyway, I had to get that off my chest. It simply grates me to no end reading these frivolous endorsements of Michelles by posters that obviously haven't been their customer for long. A balanced view needed to be presented.

I'm sure there are hobbyists that do fine with Michelles. If you gleefully hand over the money, never complain, and always meet the girl at their convenience I'm sure the relationship will go swimmingly.

I thought I was the only one that got in Nicks doghouse for no apparant reason lol, he does have some great looking girls.  If you are considering MTA you might do a lengthy check of his posts on this board to get an idea of who you would be dealing with.

I would not "blacklist" a paying client because of being "too critical and never making compliments".  If a client was unhappy with the services and still wanted to continue to use Michelles, how would I gain from the blacklisting?

If you were posting frequent bad reviews, which do have an effect on the earnings of the escorts (any other provider can back this up) then I may have chosen to not work with you (any agency or provider's right).  However, if I would have known about your unhappiness, I would have offered you a partial or full refund of the appointment (many others can attest to this).

Blacklistings usually are a result of multiple canceled appointments, frequent calls with no appointments being scheduled or bad behaviour.  Again, these are all issues that any escort or agency deals with, and they probably deal with them in the same manner.

In terms of being a boutique agency, in my mind that is represented by the fact that I only offer a few escorts each week.  That has always been my philosophy and we never went through any period where that changed.  My website has been essentially the same since it went online in the mid-90's, indicating we are a "boutique" (aka smaller) agency.

In any case, as it is a new year, give me a call sometime and I will be happy to discuss this issue with you and see if we can't come to an amicable resolution.  I am sincerely sorry for any bad feelings, but please realize this is a very rough business.

Happy New Year to All!

Nick from Michelles

You didn't give your website so I don't know what your business expectations are. Obviously an agency wants its cut and not all agencies are equal. I didn't read this thread in it's entirety so I'll add a few more comments. Apropo? No, I would steer clear. Their reputation is seriously tarnished amongst many veteran hobbyists. I was a victim of their egregious misrepresentation several times. That was years ago so I'm not sure if things have changed, but they've lost me for good. Complicit in that misrepresentation was RS2K which seemed to know what was going on, but turned a blind eye. In those days the two seemed to have a tight business relationship. Based on current ads that may still be true. Caveat Emptor.

Although its quality of offerings has become shaky, Secretly Yours is fairly stable. Not sure what kind of cut Nikki is asking for these days. Nikki is fairly astute business wise and doesn't engage in misrepresentation. Might be worth checking out. Tell Nikki an old friend from her Foxy Lady days sent you.

I have seen over 200 escorts over the past 8 years from Michelles, ECE, Secretly yours, Pussycats.
Michelles is very safe, trouble free but a bit expensive. Girls are only Downtown. My favorite is ECE, great girls, young and wild, Chris is a great guy to deal with. Pussycats is a very unsafe agency, several guys last year were arrested because an escort (Daley Lane) called the Police on them. I cannot believe this agency is still in business.

ECE and Pussycats are the easiest to deal with from my perspective.  Easy scheduling and good incall locations.

Apropo has been easy as well, but none of the current ladies are really my thing so I haven't called on her in almost a year.  However, the last time I called there the incall was way below the usual standards of the airport incalls.

Haven't tried any others, but...based on his usual arrogance here, I doubt I'd even buy glass of water from MTA.

I think Nick said it best when he said...."please realize this is a very rough business".  We have challenges that most businesses don't have.  In particular, we have the safety concerns of the ladies we work with and we all, as is evident by our track record, take that very seriously.

The bottom line is that all of the "agencies" mentioned are quality agencies.  We are all going to have people who will say good and bad things about us as is evident here.  None of us are perfect.... we are all human.

Good luck in your quest!

ECE - Chris is awesome. very cool and always, always tries to accomadate you

MTA - Big Mike is on top of his game. Sure , there are those who always have to stick their nose into places where it doesnt belong, but using MTA has never disappointed.

Michelles - Nick and i did have some problems in the past, due to me having to cancel a few times due to unforeseen circumstances, (which as Nick said in his post on this thread which did get me blacklisted, and understandably so.) I called Nick, we worked it all out in a matter of minutes and today, everything is fine.

These 3 agencies are all superb.

Though there are always those guys who will have an opinion.
Funny thing.....you hear guys bashing other agencies....i wonder what the real reason is by their bashing? More than likely, the guy did something, or something didnt check out. 9 of 10 times, the bashing is not warranted.

It takes 2 to Tango.

I like Mike when he's not getting into ego fights on the board or blasting hobbyists because he doesn't like their reviews. As an operator, he's very easy to schedule with and will work with you in a pinch, sometimes making things happen last minute. He's an easy choice.

I've not had dealings with MTA, but have had a positive impression so far. But with this post your impartiality and credibility come into question.

Do not trivialize or otherwise pooh-pooh an unwarranted black-listing. Being black-listed without proper cause is tantamount to libel and slander. I do not take that lightly nor should anyone else.

The implication made by your first paragraph is totally out of line and in no way excuses treating customers like shit. "Quality" agencies simply do not deal with their customers like that. Period.

"If a client was unhappy with the services and still wanted to continue to use Michelles, how would I gain from the blacklisting?"

Simple. In your mind this client doesn't fit your ideal profile. And no more appointments means no possibility of anything negative.

"If you were posting frequent bad reviews"

I never posted a single negative review. In fact I thought your girls were great and I told you so on numerous occasions over the years during which I was a loyal customer. You actually had at least 3 new clients over that time based on my recommendations.

Yes, you knew exactly what my beef was because we discussed it at length during our last conversation. I was polite and stuck to the facts, but you insisted on throwing a tantrum.

"Blacklistings usually are a result of multiple canceled appointments, frequent calls with no appointments being scheduled or bad behaviour"

None of these applied to me. Several of your girls that I saw regularly complimented me on being one of their favorite clients. You had plenty of opportunity to actually ask them about me both before and after black-listing me.

Regarding it being a "rough business" that's a load of bs. It in no way justifies the vitriolic tantrum you threw in our last conversation. Civilized people simply do not talk that way to anyone let alone one of their better clients. Like a fool I gave you credit for just having a bad day and made several overtures for reconciliation even though I was the aggrieved party. Each time you threw it back in my face. I even went as far as having a mutual acquaintance speak to you on my behalf. Even that wasn't good enough. After meeting with you for lunch she told me she was "truly astonished" by your attitude on the whole matter.

No, we are way beyond an "amicable resolution". I'm not a person who holds grudges or is vindictive, but you went way over the line on dealing with me. I find it interesting that you actually felt compelled to respond to my post. Are all the black listings reaching critical mass to the point of mandating PR damage control? Are we all to believe that the numerous black listings are all cases of the client being a bad egg? An apropos adage: "Be nice to people on your way up and they'll be nice to you on your way down."
Have a nice life.

But not you. You only give us the facts.

"Funny thing.....you hear guys bashing other agencies....i wonder what the real reason is by their bashing? More than likely, the guy did something, or something didnt check out. 9 of 10 times, the bashing is not warranted."

Gee, a very insightful comment. Lets think about this for a second (careful, don't strain). On one side we have the "biz" proprietor who we all know is the quintessential example of tact, diplomacy, customer service, and integrity. On the other side we have the average 9 to 5 working Joe just looking for some fun. Dispute arises between the two resulting in Joe getting black listed. How serious would Joe's purported offense need to be to get black listed and what are the odds of any random average Joe actually making this offense or one more serious? Mind you, Joe's the one actually working a 9 to 5 job which isn't in a technically illegal business. If he had no integrity nor scruples he probably wouldn't be in that line of work or any other steady and legal employment. Yet without any facts to support your assertion you proclaim that it's probably the guy's fault? 9 out of 10 times??? Even for an agency which has black listings way out of proportion to their rivals??

Can you say "disingenuous"?

"I cancelled one time with Michelles because of a personal emergency and got blacklisted? I tried to work it out with Nick but he wouldn't return my messages??"

Quite believable. He's a hothead who flies off the handle at the slightest provocation. And of course he's always right. Apparently only business motives induce seemingly civilized behavior.

This thread's reports of others being black listed is only the tip of the iceberg. Do a little research on TER and the other big hobbyist site (hint: woof-woof :-)) and you'll see what I mean. It's totally disproportionate to numbers for other agencies. It's reasonable to ask what's up with that, why does he get all the bad eggs and not his rivals?

Its an Escort Agency! You compare being black listed from an Agency to libel and slander......?
I cant stop laughing! Take that court, I;m sure that'll get far.

Find some other pussy somewhere else. If getting black listed from an Escort Agency has your panties in such an uproar, try Decaf.

And yes, i am trivializing your post as much as i can. Its Tantamount Infant-like.

I know exactly what happened because I was one of the customers who got busted. Very scary let me tell you. Someone within the agency was working for the police as an informer. This is pretty clear from the police report. It is not clear if the informer was Daley or another person. What is clear is the girl was working for the cops for a while. This agency is very unsafe. Stay away

I had a good, honest talk with Nick.  For my situation, he did not like that I gave him a false last name back in 1998.  Even though I had seen several great ladies from Foxy's/Michelle's he felt this was a breach of his security and way of doing business.  Nick goes a little over the edge with security measures but I can't argue that it helps to ensure safety.  He did not blacklist me for no apparent reason.  I'd invite everyone to clear up their situation with Nick.  And you gotta be honest.  If there was something improper you tried to get the ladies to do, only you two know the truth.  Just know that Nick has a strict way of doing business, some great talent, and I'll stick with using his service.
