I'm working on a really nice website that will include new photos, a blog and updates from the 2 major networking sites I am on...

1. Could I get a few suggestions from you guys as far as other sites you like and what you like about them. Most of my site is laid (hee hee laid) out already~ I could always use a few suggestions though!

2. For the gentlemen I have seen~ I would GREATLY appreciate a comment or 2 for my "reviews and comments" page. Of course I will have a link to my reviews here, however I know that not ALL of you write reviews so if I could get a little blurg from a few gents, it will round the page out nicely (I'll credit you via TER handle or perhaps first name city, which ever way YOU choose).

Thanks, and I'm very excited to enveil next week!

Nice set of pictures, a calendar if you are going to keep it up and maybe FAQs if they are to the point. You really don't need much else. 99% go straight to the pictures and then the rate page. Oh, heck, if I like what I see and you don't think it's lined with gold, I'll read your intro page. What that says follow the KISS method and you can't go wrong.

First off, NO MUSIC or SOUND!!  No one is going to a providers website to hear some tunes (except maybe Giselle's if her Youtube tastes are any indication of what that would be like).  Nothing is worse than when you are trying to sneak in a quick peak at work or home and all of a sudden some sultry or odd sounds start coming out of your machine where none were expected or warned of.  Other than that I agree with Radcow.  KISS method is best.  Gallerys don't need to have flowing revolving Flash enabled pictures, just pictures that are clear and easy to pull up.  Also if you buck the trend of having confusing non discriptive headers on the pages.  i.e. how about 'Rates' or 'Prices' or 'Compensation' instead of 'appreciation' or 'splendiferication' (ok, I made that one up).  Also, if you do put in a calendar, use it and keep it up to date.  Otherwise it just makes it look like you don't keep tabs on your site.  We don't need a calendar (although one is nice), but if one is there it is better if it has accurate info.

Let us know when the site is up so we can give 'constructive' feedback.

Hope that helps,
SMEGMA!!

Any photographer can make a 6 into a 9, at least with candids you k ow what you are getting and they aren't a year old! However since you care soooooo much, I am getting them done.

Have a WONDERFUL day...
