I do find this to be quite inconsistent with reviews that are typically posted. The reviewer has only two reviews including his 10/10 review. And the reviewed lady has only one review posted to her link..that from the reviewer himself. I have had several reviews unapproved over the months and had to resubmit clarifying details. I would think that this is very inconsistent in the methodology here as on the lady's link there is no additional evidence to increase her performance rating higher than a 7 (using the TER evaluation criteria and the reviewers details in the post). I can't argue with someones objectivity on looks as each of us has our own criteria there. Obviously, reading the entire review would be required if someone had the inclination to see her...and not just use the scores as a way to determine if she is worth seeing (IMHO). As many of us can attest, the ladies who have 10 scores earn them over many reviews. Part of my research is based on scores initially, but I always read reviews from seasoned hobbyists..and my experiences with several 10's has been nothing short of outstanding. And these ladies deserved the ratings that they have received.
Everyone's 10's are different from others. For example, my 10 could be your 8. I'm not doubting his 10 experience in her performance, maybe he just isn't good at expressing himself in writing. Unless you actually sat there with him and witnessed it for yourself. Therefore, it's really hard to jump to a conclusion on this one
Reviewing our reviews is very inconsistent. I'm tired of writing reviews and having them sent back to me unapproved, and then I see this review which gives a 10 in performance.......decide for yourself.
As noted by others, everyone has different criteria, so it is impossible to say that someone else's 10 is a 10, or is not a 10. You look at the track record (of the provider and reviewer) and that gives you some context, which makes the review useful, or tells you it is pretty meaningless, which seems a pretty safe conclusion in this case.
But there is one other thread in this discussion - the criteria applied in approving, or not, reviews. To the degree that TER works well and provides us all value, and I think it does work well and provide value, the moderators deserve a lot of credit. I can certainly quibble with their criteria for approval or not, and I have already had reviews disapproved for reasons that made little sense to me. Having been involved in the operation of similar boards in different spaces online, I know that their job is large and challenging. I think the first priority is to manage/prevent shilling, and then to try to maintain some standards for reviews so that each review offers real value. While they could always do better and it is not hard to find an example like this, the results say they do a decent job overall herding all these tomcats, and kitties. Not an easy job.
Has everyone looked at this provider's web site. I had run across her prior to this post and read through her site before concluding she was not for me. Her site has a certain idiosyncratic honesty to it that is amusing, though the replies to most of the FAQs, SHOUTING (her caps) that everything that she refuses to do is UNSAFE SEX and we are crazy to want it was what turned me off. No judgment here on whether she is right or wrong, but it seemed like too many rules, and way too judgmental (if I ask for something that is not on her menu, will she actually shout at me right then and there - call me chicken). Plus she will not do some things I really like.
The review reads like it was written by a committee of villagers from "The Magnificent Seven", that is to say old white guys trying to sound Mexican. By and large spelling OK (except "massage" and "supper" a couple times) which is curious in itself. Would expect more errors. Don't know why someone would try to write a review with an accent. Maybe I'm just tired. Have a nice holiday folks.
I can understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So a 10 on looks doesn't bother me. I think she's quite good looking myself. It's the performance 10 that's crazy. I can't see how you can get a 10 on performance without BBBJ.
Did you submit a problem report on this review? That should be your FIRST course of action. I don't think you have any idea how much work goes into review approval. Moderators play no part in that process btw, as we are more than occupied just dealing with discussion board posts.
For whatever it's worth, TER did fix her performance rating to a 7, the maximum allowed where the provider does not offer any special activities. I looked at the FAQs on her website, some of which were amusing. She simply is not a GFE, and shouldn't describe herself as such.
