I remember many men open to the topic of spa's asking where many of them were. I'd like to gain some feedback on this.
So men : Do you like a soothing atmosphere ? Tell me what you like to see when you enter the room you will occupy for a nice massage. Any colors that you like that relax you? What about soothing music ? Candles?
I visited a lady in Phoenix who actually had a very comfortable massage table in her in-call location. Dim lights are very nice as is soothing music (she had music with no recognizable melody such as American Indian flute music). The walls in her room were a forest green. The massage table with a towel covering the privates until the right moment was an excellent touch.

I myself went to a spa for a facial and the room was very dim , music was soothing the table very comfortable , One thing I notice I would add is a tranquil mini water fountain . Everything was white it truly gave me an escape from the world it was so nice.
I am kinda surprised to see the lack of comments on the topic not too long ago it was a pretty long list of replies. Oh well...
While a pleasant ambience is appealing, for me, it is more about the lady. If the lady is feminine with long hair, a scent of perfume who speaks softly and smiles, it is just wonderful
Heated table is a must, esp during the winter months......dimmed lights (but not totally dark) and some quiet background music are both really nice. Good sheets are too.

that I use for my massages. I also light candles and have soft music playiing,
I love giving massages the atmoshere relaxes me and makes me feel good that I'm making someome else feel good.
I've been asked a number of times if I'm a CMT. I'm not but I give a great massage.
For me a good table is a must with nice sheets (Nordstrom's has a "Hotel Collection) that are crisp, 1000+ thread count). In a spa dim lights are fine, with a provider I like to catch a glimpse here and there. I don't care much for scented candles as they tend to be over powering. That being said I generally enjoy the fragrance in the air of most spa's (eucalyptus, lavender etc.). Technique trumps everything. I have found that a great massage can be ruined by too much or too little conversation too.
My top spa's in the Chicagoland Area are the Waldorf Gold Coast, Coldwater Creek Naperville, Zano's Ogden Ave Naperville.
Hope the feedback helps!

Most important for me is the cleanliness of the room and table. Other than that, it's all about the connection with girl. I don't think anything else (colors/candles/music) matter all that much to me.
