Here is a break down since guests usually only consider the 1hr that is involved.

a 1hr appt for me takes:

verification time: 30-60mins is the norm but can take longer

shower and make up: 60mins

drive time to incall there and back: 30mins

getting incall ready before and after: 30mins

Actual appt: about 75mins give or take, since when has a 1hr appt ever lasted 1hr on the dot from the time you walk in till the time you leave?

Personal clean up after date: 20mins

So the average of each new guest is 4-4.5hrs

Or past guest about 3.5 hrs

On my special of 250 that means for a new 1hr guest is about 55.55-62.50hr for the entire experience, past guest about 71.42hr.

However if you figure in all of the NCNS dates that take as much time but end up with zero income, the guests who get screened but never visit, those who set up and cancel, and then those who email just to say hi....  Providers like me who are personable and like to spend time with their guests and talk to them as well as answering most email even though some I have not visited in years(due to the downturn in the economy).  

At that point with figuring all that is put into this time wise placing ads and all.  Yeah, the 25$hr figure is probably very accurate of what each provider takes home after all the time and effort that goes into this.

Statistics on prostitution are notoriously unreliable as the business is so often clandestine. Even reliable stats are easily misinterpreted or spun to support one side. I like how they include the cost of prostitution to the American taxpayer, which wouldn't be the case if it were legal. I doubt that anyone here thinks trafficking is a good thing, but I wonder if a crackdown on prostitution on the whole would impact trafficking that much. It seems that making pay for play into a black market only increases prices and thus increases the motivation for criminals such as traffickers to get involved. If you think I'm wrong please tell me why as my thinking on this issue is not fully formed. Sage, were you beaten twelve times last year?

even though that isn't foolproof.  Men are less likely to cause physical issue if we have their info in which could be used to bring charges.  Those who do not screen as well or at all or going to be more likely to be beaten and throw the stat because some get alot and some get none.

I have heard about WELL REVIEWED AND WELL LIKED ladies getting laid up in the hospital because a guest went nuts.  We just get less of it because we are careful.

A wise old statistician once said... "92% of all statistics are made up"  You have to believe him as a statistician because historically he is correct 86% of the time.....
