Interested in Springfield while visiting Illinois but don't see much posted about it, just wondering if TER is active there?

I travel through central Illinois occasionally and I have a friend who lives there and he says TER is non-existent south of I-80.  Skip The Games is a popular site but many of the ads are deposit and content selling scams.  It's hard to find a credible lady in that area, but those who are legitimate MAY do okay since the talent pool is limited.  To my knowledge there isn't a message board like TER in the Springfield or central Illinois area.
