Up until now, MTA has never placed an as on Backpage.  So, if you have seen an ad on there, it was not placed by us.  Questions are this...... Do you shop for escorts on BP and if so, do you shop mainly in the line ads or the "other" ads on the right side of page or "both"?

Also, I notice that almost all the internets stings quote themselves as placing ads on BP to lure in potential "Johns".  Does this concern or deter you at all?

It doesn't matter if democrats or republicans are in charge does it? Hopefully more people will start to realize that. The politicians in this country are in lock-step going backward

I only check TER and RS2K - don't mess with the rest.

Hey Mike,
I do not use BP - the risks seem way too high.  I would not recomment you doing so - stick with your updates on TER, they are informative and provide good updates in what is up with your group.  Seems to me the potential of creating a higher profilie for your group with LE by utilizing BP would far outweigh any potential benefits.

Why anyone locally would risk visiting anyone without prior reviews on TER is beyond me.

Even when I link to Cityvibe, I still look for TER reviews before considering placing a call.

Might search there but always check them out on TER. No reviews means forget it. Never know what you might be getting into. I just look at the line ads, not the sidebar.

Prececute pleasure because they don't see how they can effectively tax it. After all we can't have a burgeoing cottege industry that the government  doesn't get a piece of. Goes allong with the synical view that the drug cartels are paying off politicians to keep drugs illegal.

We will see how things go in California.

BTW, does anyone know how they tax pros in Canada?

I let the more adventerous guys venture into BP for providers. I like to stick to well reviewed providers to avoid any issues, including performance, and cash and dash problems....

There is some visually appealing material on BP. And as I window shop and browse more
that I participate I frequent the site. But anyone I find there that I might be interested I cross
reference with TER and or other sites.

Mike,

BP is a giant danger zone, and I would think that you stand opening yourself up to more LE scrutiny.  I do look on BP, but like others have said always fall back to the fact of whether they are reviewed here.

YES: I use BP regularly, but I am very selective.  You can certainly find some good stuff on there, you just need to be very careful.

I use the line ad's, I barely ever look at the featured ad's.  Not sure why, that's just how I roll.  ;)

YES:  LE is always a concern.

If you are considering posting on BP, I would suggest against it.  Before I even became "part" of the hobbyist community I had found stuff online about MTA.  You are already VERY well known in Chicago, and IMO are "above" posting on BP.  It would seem like you simply don't need to.  You may pick up some noobs through BP, but anyone who has done this before will easily be able to find you without looking on BP.

It does sound synical, but unfortunatley it's probably true.  Politicians, cops, judges, and lawyers all profit off of prohibition one way or another.
